Yes, yes I did.

Presumably Dek will enjoy this album art. I enjoy hard rock / metal covers of video game music.

No, not really. I find it kind of ugly.
I enjoy hard rock / metal covers of video game music.
How “metal-ish” would you describe the music in this album as?
(It looks like it could be an interesting listen, but I don’t want to waste my time with metal covers of songs I like that I will hate and regret listening to.)
Army of Darkness: The Medieval Deadit | The Terminator - Color Regrade | The Wrong Trousers - Audio Preservation
SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.
Take a listen yourself.

My favorite track is the Sonic 2 medley, maybe because it’s not very “metal-ish” at all.

I make those!
I just listened to the Sonic tracks right now.
The Sonic 2 medley was great! …
“Remix of Chemical Plant, Aquatic Ruin, Casinopolis and Drowning Jingle from Sonic the Hedgehog 2.”
Lol.
Marble Garden Zone was also pretty nice.
But the Flying Battery Zone / Goldeneye 007 one was way too metal for me.

I think I posted the Brass artwork here previously.
(and yes, they have an album called Brass 2: Mouth)

Perhaps.
Many places like that consider my covers too ‘conservative’. I generally keep the same feel and arrangement as the original tune (I typically cover mega man songs and they are already quite rock/metal in nature) except with real guitars and better synths and realistic drums.

It’s just funny getting an outside perspective because in my view the cover could actually be more metal oriented and heavier. That’s probably because I only delve into the more brutal forms of metal these days as opposed to my younger self who used to listen to Metallica all of the time and thought they were super heavy.
Well aren’t you trve kvlt.
Once you’ve listened to Cryptopsy there’s no going back…
Cryptopsy is garbage. Even worse, it’s boring garbage.

Perhaps you should use a better picture to convey it.
…
Just kidding, there’s no perhaps about it.
Vocals are garbage but the music is impeccable. Different strokes though 😄

Do they have instrumentals? Because I’m not eating the best pizza in the world if it’s topped with garbage.
I wish they did. I can ignore bad vocals in songs like I can disregard sub-par dialogue or acting in a film or bad gameplay in a video game so it’s not that big of an issue for me.
