btw, Hope Solo should be ashamed of herself for being such a sore loser and calling the other team cowards. In fact the whole team should be ashamed of themselves for losing to an inferior team not even making it to the semi-finals.

Of course not! That isn’t the point! The point is, this is a team that won the World Cup, and they couldn’t even make to the semi-finals in the Olympics. They lost to a team they should have been able to beat. They should be angry with themselves instead of being angry with the other team.

I just think it’s a little harsh to say that anybody who does something better than you could ever dream about doing should be ashamed of themselves for not doing it well enough.
Agree that they shouldn’t be putting the other team down tho.

They should be ashamed for not playing as well as they can. They should have won this game easily. That I can’t play anywhere near as well as they can is irrelevant here.
