I love how John Byrne derides Superman: The Animated Series for killing off Dan Turpin – claiming it was incredibly disrespectful to Jack Kirby, whom Turpin’s likeness was based on – but still defends this degrading piece of garbage storyline.

What is the rest of the storyline? I haven’t looked into it much. All I know is Mr. Miracle’s there.
EDIT: Just looked it up and if it weren’t for the fact that this was right around the time of Watchmen, TDKR, I’d say that sounds fake.

I remember reading an article in Starlog where Synder was quoted as saying that he literally wanted to use the 300 graphic novel as a script when shooting his film.

Spider-Man: Blue
I read it at least one a year.
It’s a retelling of the Gwen Stacy/Mary Jane relationship told through Peter Parkers reminiscing. Some of the best villains appear and the art is great. Can’t recommend it enough!
