No, because I’m not “Frankenstein’s sock”.

Hey Guys!! Sorry I’ve been absent for so long, but I had to go away to space-ireland for a while after my cult of space-wizards sort of backfired. Also, I’ve got a beard!

Night of the Demon (1957)
Laugh riot this one. Does have some really good cinematography though.
3 out 5 balls.

Sorcerer (1977)
Criminally underrated. Absolutely love this film.
6 out 5 balls.

All That Jazz (1979)
Great movie. Has a few problems (there’s a really squicky heart surgery scene. Bleegh! and the ending stage show seems to go on FOREVER.)
4 out 5 balls.

Cabaret (1972)
Had a copy of this film for ages, but never got round to seeing it 'til recently. Watched it after seeing ‘All that Jazz’ and liked it way more than ‘All that Jazz’.
4.873 out 5 balls.

Just finished watching both Kill Bill films. Very satisfying. I love the moment in Volume 1 where The Bride finds out she has been in a coma for four years, and the bit in Volume 2 when Bill recites his speech on Superman. I love the characters and the direction is fantastic. The action scenes, particularly those in Volume 1, are some of the best ever put to film.

Both Volumes: 10/10

Not enough people read the EU.

Ah yes, Duracell’s strange views on Superman emerge once more.

Star Trek (2009)
Watched it a few days ago when Yelchin died. Didn’t like it quite as much second time watching it. Still fun, though.
B+

10 Cloverfield Lane
I do still love this movie just as much as when I saw it in theaters.

Because characterizing Superman as some aloof alien god who views humanity as a race of clumsy, awkward buffoons is just so normal.

[JEDIT]

Well, maybe it was in the Silver Age. But I dislike those comics for a reason.

I think he meant how seriously you take Superman.

E.g. this post.

Yeah, how dare someone show some passion for something they like. Next there’ll be forums popping up dedicated to niche aspects of various franchises! The scandal!

“Child’s Play 3” (1991)

I’ve never seen a Chucky movie before and this was on the telly so I thought I’d give it a watch.

It wasn’t as bad as I imagined it would be. The character of Chucky is actually rather charming and self-aware. It had a ridiculously convoluted load of old twaddle driving the movie forward at an entertaining pace. It had cute little Justin Whalen from Lois and Clark in it. It had some really awesome visual effects too.

I was amused and had fun, and I’d happily sit through another one. How many of these did they make?

I give it 3 demon dolls out of 5.

They made too many; just watch the first 3. Personally I like Childs Play 2 the most though the first is probably a better made movie.

I’ve seen the first Child’s Play. As it is with the original Death Wish, I have no desire or inclination to see the sequels.

But… in Death Wish 3 Charles Bronson murders everyone!

Watched both of the Pixar Monsters movies today with my brother, which was fun, even though I don’t feel that they’re up to scratch with other Pixar efforts like Toy Story or WALL-E.

Monsters, Inc. (2001) - 7/10

Monsters University (2013) - 6/10
