Individual Threads Crashing

When I try to open certain threads, I get this error message:

Right now it’s just for some threads. Others I can open without issue.

You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

I’m having similar issues, also happening when I try to post. Sometimes the post gets posted even with the error I see, sometimes not.

Also the ā€œjump to most recent postā€ feature is doing some funny things. Sometimes going to a post I’ve already read, for instance.

Just noticed that even though I’ve posted in this thread, the forum thinks I haven’t read it yet (it’s marked unread and when I click on the link it takes me to the first post.

Same issue here, so far all threads I tried to open (except this one) gave me the error message.

Weird this one is working.

I’ve notified Jay, all we can do is wait.

For some reason, the server’s CPU went crazy and the database started having problems. Need to investigate, but I rebooted and everything seems back to normal.

No problem. Certainly better than asking the old hosting service to look into it and then waiting 2 days for a response.

Uh, I don’t know if this fix is holding, because I’m experiencing this very issue right now. Almost every thread won’t load for me; even this one didn’t load at first.

I’m getting the error message again when I tried to enter the politics thread.

Probably for the best.

I think I tracked down the problem (out of disk space, which explains the errors some of you were getting). Bumped that up, hopefully that solves the problem.

Maybe we need a bigger disk drive? šŸ˜‰

In this emergency situation, no 5¼" half-measures … we must go for the full 8" floppy!

Good, thanks again.
