They could create a fem 005 or a homosexual 0069 and bring in 007 as a supporting character, as Marvel brings other characters to support the individual hero films. A fem 00 might work if done well. Jolie and Johannsen have paved the way. I doubt I’d see a homosexual 00 if it’s primarily a pandering, identity politics gimmick. It would have to have VERY much to recommend it otherwise.
A homosexual Bond or Captain America would be a homo-militant attack on iconic figures of British and American masculinity.
I’m still recovering from being told we MUST believe allowing every pervy bi-sexual cross-dresser to prance into any Girl’s Locker Room is the most glorious idea ever conceived, or else we’re pure evil and deserve to SUFFER AND DIE!!!

What, a post from you with normal formatting?

I would not watch a black Bond on principle. Again, there is JUST NO WAY to divorce this kind of thing from the element of "Yyyyyeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh!!! Now we're really sticking it to whitey!!!!". Why should I pay big money for that?
Again, they could easily create a 009 and bring in 007 to support. Again, it would have to offer VERY much more than an identity politics gimmick before I'd spend my money on it.

Aaaaand where back to unreadable.

Since Frink was called out for writing in all caps, isn’t this formatting a bannable offense now?

What about Col. Klebb in From Russia With Love? She sure gave off a lesbian vibe in that one scene.

Yeah, that’s who I was referring to. She was a homosexual, Honor Blackman in Goldfinger was bisexual, and Wint and Kidd were homosexuals in Diamonds Are Forever. I’m still not sure about some characters, but Skyfall had at least the fourth homosexual and fifth or sixth LGBT character in general.

It is even clearer in the (excellent) novel that Klebb is lesbian. Her lusting over Tatiana (the pictured scene) progresses to the point where it becomes very uncomfortable.

I wouldn’t want black Bond or female Bond for a simple reason - according to all info we have now, the bond from Spectre and Bond from Dr. No is the same character. That same secret agent has managed to work for her majesty’s secret service for all these 50 years. How? IDK. But that’s the truth.

Avengers - Age of Ultron - 5/5

Not as good as The Avengers, but a still very great. Excellent finale to Phase Two.

Wait…it’s not finale to Phase Two? There is another movie after it? Why?

This IS the finale. It ties Phase Two together. I honestly can’t think how Ant-Man is going to work out as a finale.

X-Men 7/10

I used to really love this film but it suffers from a low budget, clichés, bad set design, bad costume design, cheesy lines, and cheesy characters. Overall still pretty enjoyable but X2 still takes the cake IMO.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” The best of the worst X-Men movies. A few things done right, too much done very wrong.

Interesting. I give it like a 4/5. Very fun indeed and a nice finale. My cons with the movie were:

-Ultron was somewhat of a letdown. James Spader was great but it wasn’t as terrifying as the trailers hinted at.
-The Natasha/Banner romance I felt was half baked and stuck out like a sore thumb.
-The Humor sometimes didn’t work.
-The pacing was a bit problematic in the middle.

Besides those flaws, I thought it was very satisfying indeed.

Yeah, Ultron basically ruined Natasha as a character.

Karate Kid - I’ve loved this film since I was a kid. I seem to recall thinking as a child that he actually killed the lead punk with that Crane Kick to the face.

The Russos work before and after Ultron with her character is what saved it from near destruction. But the whole flashbacks to her origin in Ultron was very awesome for her character I thought. Her inability to have kids and her harsh training was a fascinating addition to her character. But God, that romance was cringy…

Yeah, Winter Soldier and Civil War were highlights, and the backstory stuff in Ultron was cool. Just the romance was so shit.

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - 9/10

What a film. I loved the characters and the story, and the direction was fantastic. The cinematography I adored. It was just amazing, and I absolutely loved it.

Attack the Block (2011) - 7/10

A few characters are quite annoying, and some aren’t well acted, but I love the concept, and it’s executed wonderfully. I think I like John Boyega more in this than I do in The Force Awakens. The ending is perfect, and I love the soundtrack.

Evil Dead II (1987) - 9/10

The acting and writing aren’t exactly top of the line, but it has a great tone, amazing comedy, and fantastic direction, with a very good performance from Bruce Campbell. Highly entertaining. I especially love the POV shots of the Evil, which are utilized to great effect.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) - 7/10

Some characters get little to do and the plot is stupid, like most spy films, but it’s fun and pretty well acted. I don’t know whether I prefer this or Ghost Protocol.

Toy Story 2 (1999) - 9/10

My goodness, I haven’t seen this in years! It certainly brought back nostalgia, as I used to watch this all the time when I was younger. It’s got some flaws, but they’re all minuscule and hardly detract from the film, which has glorious animation and terrific voice acting, plus some extremely humorous and emotional moments. It stands up just as well as it did when I was six.
