I love Super Mario Bros. 2. It may have been a game in Japan called Doki Doki Panic, but it’ll always be Super Mario Bros. 2 to me.

The japanese version of Mario Bros. 2 is tough as balls. Damn bloopers are everywhere!

Sounds too much like anime for my taste.

The Lost Levels? The U.S. got that in the early 90s with the Super Mario All-Stars SNES remastering. It’s damn near impossible on the NES. I was able to play the NES version thanks to the Wii’s arcade market that let’s you play original games. The SNES version let’s you continue at each level, which makes it more doable.

I just got Batman: Arkham City - Armored Edition to replace my digital copy on PS3. The new wii u features are really immersive and creative.

Fight Night Champion is the best sports game ever made. It has a really well done campaign and the boxing controls are really good! I also love the way the graphics look on peoples’ skin and sweat, it’s really realistic although the faces look pretty fake.

Does anyone here have any recommendations on where to find reasonably-priced NES, SNES, and N64 cartridges online? Ebay has poor selection and everyone selling thinks their copy of Kung Fu is worth $25. Is there a discogs-type website for old video games?

Sports games? Pfff.

If I want to play football, I go outside and play football.

Wasting time? Pfff.

If I want to waste time, I do something fun. Like playing video games or masturbating.

If I had more time to waste I might play video games (I used to, back when Pong was new) but it’s too far down my list of things I want to waste time on to actually do it.

You filthy Millenials with all the time in the world wouldn’t understand.

Honestly your best bet is offline. They’re not commonplace but if you can find a store that sells old video games, that’s probably where you’ll find the best price.

I wish I still played games. After work I just don’t have the energy anymore.

Probably, but I live in a pretty dead area, so any craigslist deals or decent stores would be pretty difficult for me. There is an awesome vinyl record store with great prices though!

Funny thing is that I don’t play video games that much any more but as I am about to start a new job soon I doubt I will be playing at all. Not if I want some semblance of a social life that is 😄

Yeah. I work full time, and I’m not complaining or whining it’s part of growing up and I consider myself lucky to have landed a supervisor position so young. 3 or 4 anniversary raises down the line and I’ll be in great shape.

But after that my choices of free time are spending time with people or sitting alone playing games. And a night in a couple times a week is nice but I’d rather spend time with people most of the time.
