I was thinking of trying to turn all 7 Star Wars movies into a TV show each episode 22 to 42 minuets long. Season 1 would be episode 1-3 season 2 would be episode 4-6 and then season 3 would be the sequel trilogy. I would need help coming up with a way to make a “Theme Song” any help would be appreciated.
Sounds cool, there was an old fanedit project doing this but it got cancelled😦

That’s a cool idea. And with it being a “television series”, you wouldn’t be confined to abiding by the conventions of the films. You could essentially do whatever you want with them.
As for the “theme”, I’d definitely pull from one of the animated series, or one of the video games. Are you going “opening montage” style, as in, using clips of each character to introduce them? Or more like an “opening sequence”, as in, something like the Netflix Daredevil series?
Will each 20 minute “episode” have its own opening crawl, or are you doing away with that?

Montage style like the old show of the 80s every time a new movie is happening that episode will have an opening crawl.
A new hope can be either 3 42 minue episodes or 6 22 minuet episodes.
This project sounds awesome and very limitless in ideas considering it would be a tv show. Good luck!

I think there have been others.
TV series edits have potential, but it would be good to go beyond just retelling the films as they stand. Each episode could have a focus.
I put this forward YEARRRSSSS ago, as a sort of TV mini series response to the STAR WARS REBORN project that was never completed.
It utilises flashbacks to tell a seamless PT/OT. In a way a more chopped up version of machete viewing.
