Once it’s legal for us to post clips for TFA fanedit ideas I will put up two maybe that are gonna be Hans death with added music from ROTS. There is a last stretch of music in “Anakins Dark Deeds” that I could use which I find works best or the immolation scene music which is good too.

This?

I love that song! It’s one of my favourite John Williams queues.

I really like the one 30 seconds into that song when the choir starts. Chills every time.

It would work better if Palpatine mentioned Padme first and Vader dismissed the relevance of her status. He no longer cares if she lived or died.

Agreed. His asking about Padme was one of the more cringe-worthy moments in a cringe-worthy movie.

The line “Is she all right” is a Hayden Christenen line done by James earl Jones and it sounds just so out of place and awful.

Source? Not doubting you, just curious to read something real about JEJ’s involvement. For a long time it was some bizarre thing where no one would admit it, despite everyone knowing, right?

Thank You Lord Vader, But Our Princess is in Another Castle

Does anyone know a good Imperial March version I can use right after Anakin kills Dooku? Right now I’m using the opening to Deal with Dark Lord.

Neeson, if you do mean after Windu is killed, then that is kinda what I was going for. I wanted to push the idea that Anakin was going along with Palpatine’s shit so he could save Padme. That’s why I cut it so Palpatine says;

“Become my apprentice, learn to use the dark side of the force” and Anakin responds with

“Just help me save Padme’s life”.

Because the way I see it, there’s 2 different angles that Anakin’s downfall can be taken. You can emphasize him wanting to save Padme, which is what I intended, or emphasize him distrusting the council. In the original, it’s a mix of both, and it ends up muddled.
