That looks great! The only thing I don’t like is the “Digital HD” banner. Mostly for nit-picky reasons.

So I’ve been thinking it may be nice to add a feature to the bonus disc of either a video or slideshow comparing all of the changes to the film over the years, since this blu ray set focuses on included all the major versions of the film. Would that be something of interest? Or do you all think it would be wasted space on the disc?

And if I include something like that, does anyone know of a good video comparing the differences? I know doubleofive did a gallery of changes which is really good, but the text explaining the changes is not part of the image, and I’d rather not have to go through and type out each one onto the images if I can avoid it.

There are videos that discuss the changes. But none of them cover the minor things like 005’s gallery.

After looking through this forum very throughly and fondly and seeing your imput on emanswfan prequel edits I was wondering if you (darth lucas) is going to possibly put emanswfan’s version of the prequels in? (Once they release of course 😉

No, I’m sorry, the intention of the project is to present the official releases in as high quality as possible. Emanswfan’s version, while I’ve been following it and am very excited about it, does not accurately represent any official version of the film, and thus will not be used in this BD set.

For the theatrical editions of the original trilogy will you be using the Silver Screen/Grindhouse Empire & Grindhouse Jedi or Harmy’s despecialized? looks great btw. Thanks.

Little update/addition to the bonus disc for those interested. The bonus disc will now contain the 1978 Academy Awards, edited to include only those segments related to Star Wars (i.e. only the awards for which Star Wars was nominated/won).

Sorry for lack of updates guys. I’m working on all the boring technical stuff right now so it’s gonna be pretty dull until that’s all done. Working from towne32’s 2.7, so if for some reason I finish before that’s released, you will have to wait, because I am not releasing mine until that is out officially.
