I watched all 3 movies today after seeing The Force Awakens last night. Just wanted to give my thanks to Harmy and everyone involved, and I am really looking forward to the 2.0 RotJ release.

Yesterday I watched ROTJ 2.0 Workprint, it’s soooo amazing. The entire movie including the 35 mm inserts looks really awesome. Thank you so much to Harmy and all the OT contributors for this amazing job.
IMHO just noticed some speed acceleration at the end during the celebration scene when the x-wings are in the sky during the fireworks. They seem supersonic to me" lol … I don’t know if in the original movie they fly so fast. I noticed too some color differences in some shots during the Sarlacc pit scene… but I’m sure probably all of these “glitches” and more things of this workprint version are probably reported.
Once more, thank you again. Watching the trilogy in Glorious HD is like a dream come true. Maybe in a future we can can have them in 1080p now that the key scenes were from a 35mm source. I’m Looking forward for the final V2.0 version 😃

Hi all. I’m a relative noob so bare with me but first allow me to join everyone in praising Harmy for this ambitious and impressive accomplishment. I finally bit the bullet and bought a blu-ray burner so that I could have the despecialized trilogy on my shelf and all I can say is, what took me so long? Lol. Anyway, I found them on a private torenet tracker and with ROTJ 2.0 on its way, I want to make sure I’m ready when it is unveiled. How would I go about getting an invite to myspleen?

Great work as usual, Harmy. I just recently got my hands on the despecialized editions, and I wanted to point out a possible problem with ESB despecialized. In the scene where Vader is communicating via hologram with the emperor, I noticed that the face of the emperor takes a bit too long to become visible. In the GOUT, his face becomes visible immediately, but in despecialized, it takes about a half second. Small problem, but I thought that it deserves to be brought up. Also, will there ever be a version 3.0 for A New Hope? Thanks!

Han Shot First, your last question would be answered if you’d look through the recent posts of the thread (past few pages), but to answer simply, Harmy said that ESB and ROTJ will be advanced to v2.5 soon, and then he will begin work on v3.0 for all three films (these will be 1080p).

I’d just like to say that the Facebook arguments regarding Harmy’s lack of respect for George Lucas’ artistic vision are quite entertaining, but also a little frightening (just like any good carnival ride)

I especially like the whining about the infiltration of Star Trek groups by “Star Wars people” because of all the attention on TFA going on right now. And let’s not forget the “Star Trek vs. Star Wars” posts, pictures, and attempts at memes. There was a person that actually thought the Enterprise-E could take on and destroy the Death Star.
It’s really sad when the “creative minds” behind something we hold dear are also guilty of its destruction.
