Starkiller origin point is interesting. The movement of the Death Star was always pretty ambiguous (although I bet the EU explained it in great detail). What if Starkiller has light speed engines?

I don’t want to say “I have a theory” because I don’t think I really believe it, but I’ve speculated that Starkiller stays in one place and can somehow fire it’s laser through hyperspace.

I’ve always maintained that the Unknown Regions should have been one of the spiral arms of the galaxy. At least that would have made some sense.

^Far because they didn’t have a hyperdrive. For them to get there without lightspeed and have it not take years the two planets would have to be right on top of each other.

The track list has been removed from the French and Italian Amazon sites. It could be real and released too soon, but I’m guessing it’s fake. Also, albums arranged by Williams are usually less than 20 tracks. Another indication that it’s at least not final or fake. They may still be arranging the album.

Simon Pegg has confirmed in Empire magazine that the robohanded individual from the second trailer is Luke. Also mentioned that he watched the scene being filmed alongside Mark’s family.

Hmm, well Ilum is canon according to Clone Wars so that makes a lot of sense.

I wonder if this is actually the rumored flashback scene?

I didn’t know there was a rumored flashback scene. I know a lot of people were needlessly freaking out about the idea of one (waah, it’s not Star Wars with flashbacks!) because Carrie’s daughter was cast, and people assumed she would play young Leia. Since we’ve seen her in a shot with Leia, it’s obviously not the case.

Maybe that’s my confusion. I thought a site was reporting a flashback a year ago, but it could have just been speculation after Fisher’s daughter was confirmed to be involved. She may not even have any speaking lines.

Hasn’t it always been like that in SW canon though?

It’s still stupid.

It takes Yoda – what? – a couple hours to take a trip from Coruscant to Moraband, but no one from Coruscant’s ever sent explorers into the Unknown Regions, which is significantly closer to Coruscant than Moraband is?

Personally, I feel that when the powers-that-be decided to reintroduce the Unknown Regions, either the Unknown and Known Regions of the galaxy should have swapped places (making the Republic/Empire/etc. a smaller corner of a larger, unexplored galaxy) or the Unknown Regions should have been made to completely surround the Known Regions, like a ring.
