Pretty sure, yes. Absolutely certain, no. I'm agnostic, not atheist.
So equally certain? No.
What I am certain of is that everyone can't be right.
JEDIT: Damn you, combo breaker.
No, I've not leaving, but lets *try* to keep things on track, shall we?
Nobody sang The Bunny Song in years…

I agree. Not everyone can be right.

This depends on the omnipotence level of the deity in question. If the deity defines the laws of the universe (strong omnipotence), then it can resolve logical contradictions without issue and all mutually-contradictory religions can be correct.
If, on the other hand, the deity is bound by the laws of the universe (weak omnipotence), then it must obey them and only one of this set of mutually-contradictory religions can be correct.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Eh. :p
But they have internet at the resort, so I will most likely still be posting my nonsense.

You responded to what I had said first with complete unbelief. And you continue with your response below.TV's Frink said:
Warb responded to what I said, so I responded back...just as I'm doing now. It had nothing to do with what you think you know to be the truth.

Furthermore, responses like yours only prove my point. You are so convinced of your truth you don't even consider all the other people who are convinced of their truth, even though all these truths are contradictory in one way or another. Just for one example, you aren't going to find many Jewish people who subscribe to your version of the truth. Myself included.

Have you not considered that you are equally certain that most of us are wrong about our religions, as you have made quite clear on several occasions? I bet you're also pretty sure that creationism is not how the world came about, and that matter is made up of atoms. Yet in neither case have you had an opportunity to experience those realities first-hand, and you must rely on the research, experience, and conclusions of others to form a decision on them.
EDIT: Apologies for engaging you in debate, but you started it. :P
The truth is available for anyone to find out. It's free all you have to do is seek it with sincerity and repentance. I wasn't called out by any human being to find this out. God chose me to find this out and you can heed to this calling by someone chosen by God or not. Really even if we never speak again you can learn the truth behind everything I'm talking about just by seeking Jesus and God. Beyond this little nudge in the right direction you can get all the direction you need from God. I'm just offering my help by offering contact information.AntcuFaalb said:
I'm not sure that we can come to any truth without the ability to verify our experiences with something other than another subjective experience.
With that being said, I do wish you the best of luck. I hope you find happiness and meaning in whatever walk of life you choose.

Yeah, I had a feeling you were being sarcastic from the start of all this. Now I am sure of it, and I don't like it.
This thread is reminding me why I don't like getting into religious discussions despite my fascination for the subject.
This all started when I someone that I don't think is all that religious posted this in RicOlie_2's Catholic thread:
http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Ask-the-member-of-the-Latin-Rite-of-the-Roman-Catholic-Church-AKA-Interrogate-the-Catholic/post/791096/#TopicPost791096
Then, after RicOlie_2 made clear he didn't have time to talk about due to schoolwork, Twister posted this:
http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Ask-the-member-of-the-Latin-Rite-of-the-Roman-Catholic-Church-AKA-Interrogate-the-Catholic/post/791231/#TopicPost791231
and then came over here to tell us she was leaving to read the Bible.
It was a person I believe is non-religious that started all this.
You'd be wrong about that but I guess you'll see just how serious I am when I don't return here after years or at least a very, very long time.Warbler said:

Sorry in advance if I am wrong.
Well this took an unexpected turn...
Twister never struck me as that type. Interesting.

Is satanic really a measurement of strength?
Regular, Extra, Maximum and now introducing Satanic strength Excedrin!

what do you think? am I am wrong to detect sarcasm in all this?
It's the most devoted piece of sarcasm I've ever seen if it is. Other than what I'd like to think the Star Wars prequels are.
This reminds me of the Trooperman Pope Francis incident.
It reminds me of that time I accidentally hit my dad in the eye with a saw. He was okay though, and we'll be okay, even if we'll miss twist.
Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

God bless satin.
Satin gives me the comfort and strength to make it through the day.
When there were no footsteps? That was satin, keeping me warm.
