RIP Aubrey Morris
That’s impossible, even for a computer.

He was (still is) one of my favorites. Always love when he pops up in something.

Damn, I never realized Mr. Deltoid was also the B Ark captain.
Where were you in '77?
Damn, the curse of Babylon 5 strikes again! (Although 91 is good old age). He had such a great way of pronoucing "Anla-shok".
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

For Rowdy:
I donned dark sunglasses during a screening of They Live back in the day, and got a good laugh out of people when the lights came up.
Interesting how Roddy has become more beloved than Hulk Hogan.

HE HAD THE SENSE TO STAY OUT OF THE PUBLIC EYE, BROTHER!
My old man was a dustman, we lived in a council house...
Anyway one day he pulled a perfectly functioning record player out of a dustbin and it came with two singles.
One was some guy who sounded like David Bowie but called himself Ziggy something and sang a song called Life on Mars?
The other was this.
Cilla Black 72.

I'm losing too many childhood icons this year. Screw you, 2015, seriously.

Somehow I knew it would be cancer. God, this sucks.
Sorry I didn't notice this a page or two back but while I was away last month that which does took our Omar too :-(
My first ever crush. TV, Hollywood, or otherwise. No one ever matched up to her. It's a bad day.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.
Great. Not only does the director of one of my favourite movies die, but he dies of brain cancer, no less.
Yep, 2015 is a shitty year. No doubt about it.
Dr. Oliver Sacks also died yesterday.
Woke up this morning to a text about Wes Cravens death. Sad news.
Wes Craven is dead and Wes Crusher lives! There is no justice.

I had a sort of reverso crush on him(as in I became fascinated with the idea of the chap before knowing what he looked like).
When all the to do about Awakenings (the film) was happening I read about the guy and he sounded quite exciting and the sort of person I would probably have had a crush on in his earlier years as well as being utterly brilliant and the ideal brain to know in his amazing ground breaking years.
And then I saw what he actually looked like back when he was the age I was when first reading about him :
Call me shallow if you wish but this guy had it all. Mind, Heart and easy on the eye... silly stuff I know.
But it's hard not to fall a bit in love with someone who faces terminal illness with such grace and eloquence.
My sister and I grew up on Scream. I had to make a sad phone call to her when I found out.
