Looks a little bulky, but I'm glad to see they finally ditched the mismatched knee armour (Seriously, I like the OT stormtrooper armour and all, but I've never liked those mismatched knees).

I'm just so overjoyed that there actually are real "poor bastards," really occupying real physical space, and able to really be photographed in a real photo shoot! Having spent more than a decade being exposed to images of stormptroopers being rendered as cartoonish video game sprites, even while preforming such mundane activities as pointing, looking through binoculars, and kneeling down to ask "Are you all right?" these new images are like drops of water on desert-parched lips...

I like the armor. Feels very McQuarrie-esque (like so many of the other things we've seen so far). I LOVE the pistol being attached to his thigh. I'm not crazy about the revamped stormtrooper blaster. It looks a little over-designed and less "real" than the Blasters of the OT. Still can't make up my mind about the helmet. I don't immediately hate it, but it also doesn't illicit any strong positive feelings from me either.
But as Akton mentioned, I'm so happy about the fact they're building real armor, props, sets, etc. that I'm more than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when a particular design doesn't immediately feel like a home run. EVERYTHING I've seen so far feels more like Star Wars "should" feel than almost anything since '99.

I wonder why the TIE Fighters have inverted colors and why Kylo Ren wears a hood over a mask.
I also noticed a new Imperial logo.

The Kylo Ren mask looks very familiar. It seems like they're trying to make him the "Darth Maul" of the film with all the publicity they're giving him. I hope the character is actually interesting.

Those are badass pictures! I really like the detailing on Kylo's mask and it's awesome seeing the different kinds of troopers and their various weaponry. I'm pumped!
