I have to say, these look wonderful in motion. The sabers in ROTJ are still too fat, but that's unavoidable given the source. Other than the width they now match the other films. And the blaster shots look great too.

^No, because you didn't like the pink lightsaber. Pink is a great colour. Don't knock it.
;-P
open up Photoshop or After effects
add a RED saber on screen mode with the bright blue background tell me what color you get, you might surprised what you find.

The scene with Jabba gets killed, the studio actually re scoped luke's green saber or certain scenes from it. I just did the shots they did not do in that sequence. I am working this project from a linear perspective, only matter of time before I re scope the main light saber dual. That is going to be a Bitch!! (because of the extensive masking that I will need to do)
I was actually talking about the speeder bike chase, it looks good.
My question about this project is are you removing the lightsaber shadows? In the scene where luje gets his lightsaber you see it off to the left and in the last Vader vs. Luke battle you see lightsaber shadows all over, will you get rid of them or modify them? I have read some debate over this but I beleive that they shouldn't give off shadow as they are a source of light, even if it is plasma it is STILL glowing and gives off quite a bit of light so I'd like to see your opinion on this. Also what is your main source for these? Are you using Harmy's despecialized editions or are you using some other source, thanks! :)

I am not clear on which screen shot you are referring to? Could you be more specific?
My source is the original BD box set (all 6 films). I am not modifying any one's else fan edit

I'm not talkig about any of your screenshots, I am just wondering if you are taking out the shadows that the sabers give off throughout the movies, they look like the shadow of a stick (which they are really) and they kind of bugging me so I was just wondering if oyu're doing that, thanks! :)

I'm definitely stealing this and making it a character's name in one of my Star Wars screenplays.

No, that would involve clone stamping other frames to mask a shadow and that is a road I do not want to go down as it would consume too much of my time.
I am 10 seconds in the ROTJ opening death star battle and I have re-drawn already 139 laser bolts. I can not even imaging how much time that would have taken them in 1983
lol
Possessed, might be a few more days until I can get that first part to you.
There's no point in hurrying the edit is weeks perhaps months away from being ready. I work full time and when I'm not at work sometimes I feel like relaxing instead of sitting at the computer editing movies lol.

THANK GOD HE IS OK!!!!
So you are going to use footage of the crash in your edit? Interesting.
Could help but notice that the blue and black colour scheme of the plane made it look rather like a Naboo starfighter.

Released beta (Star Wars- Ep VI-Return of the Jedi V1.1 H265 XXTELECINE 7XX) 8.65gb
If this gains any traction I can release a BD version of it.
There are still a few things a I want to fix, but for now this is a working version. Suggestions are now open.
This is a H265 release. If you do not have the software to play it download VLC player or KoDI.
Gentleman start your searching.. :}
Man, H265. Gonna need a bigger computer now! My 2008 Dell (Don't laugh) ain't gonna cut it for 4K!
its H265 but at 1080p. Most ATI cards now have hardware acceleration for playback. If not you could try this.

this player will make the most of what ever type of computer you have.
Does anybody still have these? I pmed xxtelecine 7xx to no avail. I used to have them but unfortunately lost them.
