As I've now set up in ROTR, Chewie will have Fozzie's voice. I can also see doing some Grover for Yoda since it's basically the same voice.
...and Rizzo The Rat for Salacious Crumb right?
Like.

This will probably come in handy.
I was going to say "meh" until I got to Groda. Fantastic!
The DVD is probably long out of print, but the whole show is up on Youtube.
JEDIT:Plenty of cheap copies on Ebay though.
Where were you in '77?
Idea: Repeat Obi-wan's "So was I, if you remember" line after most things Yoda says.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Why stop with things Yoda says?
You must use this at particularly dramatic moments especially:
"Never. I'll never turn to the Dark Side! You've failed, your highness. I am a Jedi--"
"So was [Obi-Wan] if you remember."
You know, that doesn't seem as funny with Obi-Wan referring to himself in the third person. Perhaps he could start using "I" after he dies?

Was just going to say that. The joke should die with him, if not earlier.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
When they are preparing to fire up the ion cannon a recorded and inserted background voice could explain the different levels of canonicity it can fire in. G canon, T canon etc.

might add ricdiculousness to Imperial scenes.
Probably not...but I do enjoy "ricdiculousness."
I notice that almost everyone who refers to "Calrissian" also says the word 'System" at some point in the saga.
So he could be called "Lando System" making Leia spot on first time.
Han could just assume she has already met him or something.
Not bad!
I'm not sure how feasible it is, but perhaps after Luke escapes the wampa and passes out in the snow, the wampa could once again drag him to his lair.
Even less feasible idea: the first time, it's roughly the OOT version (plus whatever weirdness you want to add to it). I.e., we see an arm fall off but no reaction shot. The second time around, we see the reaction shot, which will have been altered to appear as though both arms are now missing.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
When Luke is using the Force to contact Leia (and later Vader to contact Luke) the footage could be slightly slowed and extracts from this could be played over the soundtrack.
Goddamn the 70s were a weird time.
Yes, they were. ;)
UFO's loomed large in the pop culture even before Close Encounters came out.
By late '77, everybody was trying to get on the Star Wars/Close Encounters bandwagon. I think even Kiss played up sci fi trappings in their stage act.
IIRC, Peter Frampton got in little bit of legal trouble for having Jawa lookalikes cavorting on stage in his concerts at the time.

Even guys from Permingham singing about cowboys had to throw in a space ship.
I'm not sure if I should blame Sun Ra or the Legendary Stardust Cowboy
You could make Luke keen to leave Dagobah the moment he meets Yoda and have Yoda deliberately sink Luke's ship to keep him on the planet to be trained.
Add lens flare.

Already did it for AOTR.
Ooooh... then add constant camera shakes for shots of ships flying around. Or better yet, standing still.

Ha! Please post this idea in my ROTR thread so I can do it immediately.
