Oh for crying out loud.  I can tell you have never apply for jobs in a place with a limited number of jobs before.

Most companies will only let you apply once ever thirty to ninety days. Also searching for this stuff involves a lot of waiting for pages to load so some times I do other things while waiting.

Some of those things include listening to college level lectures and reading books to improve my mind as well as posting on the internet and writing on my computer.

I said I was sorry and I would not complain any more so if you still have a problem then report me to the mods.

Sorry if you think I am a drama queen, not sure how to fix that since any response or complaint on my part makes me one.

Of course one could make the argument that having to search for the thread you want is just as much a problem unworthy of complaint as a lack of jobs and that you can make the solution to this problem happen just as much as someone looking for a job.  You could get off your butt and bump the threads you want to read, so by your own logic you are a drama queen for complaining here instead of spending your time bumping the threads you want to read.

Of course it's easier said then done but it is up to you to make it happen, so stop complaining and make it happen.  Stop being a drama queen.

Being that you necro posted my necro posts I don't see that you have the right to complain.  Call it satire or anything you want, it's still making the problem you are complaining about worse.

Also you know nothing about me.  I spend my day keeping the house running but again that leads to a lot of down time where I spend a lot of time waiting for things to happen.

If you think I don't know about working and making thins happen you are wrong.  Every single job I have had I have ended up being put in charge of coworkers because I am so hard working.  I have had coworkers pull knives on my and call in cop buddies to harass me and I still didn't let that stop me from doing my job.  At the same time due to a family emergency I had to practically raise my preschool aged brother and sister due to a family emergency. Believe me I know about hard work and I am hardly the only person in the country who is having trouble finding a job at the moment.

Your encouragement amounts to you saying that I am not trying to make things better, I explained that I am it just leaves me with a lot of down time because of where I live.

Now I have admitted that you are right and I have no right to complain but you keep bringing it up.

So tell me what do I have to do to cleans myself of my sins in your eyes, because I can't build a time machine so how do i make myself pure oh holy one who is perfect and can stand in judgment of all.

I guess since you can't use the report or ignore buttons I have to kill myself since it is the only thing that will make you happy.  I hope you and your family find out some time what it is like to be really down and out and have no control over what is happen in your life. Maybe if you ever had first hand contact with anyone who who wasn't born in a mansion with a crib made out of solid gold you wouldn't be such a horrid person. The really awful thing is that because of all your money it's only a matter of time before your people get power in this country and start send everyone not born into the 1% to gas chambers because we are all lazy and just refusing to become rich and must be wiped out.

Here are the fact people like you don't get rich on your own, your wealth comes from the labor of the workers.  The fact is people like you don't grow your own food, or know how to clean your own clothes. Just remember that while you may have the money numbers are on our side and every time your class has declared war on mine we have defended ourselves and won and once we win we always take revenge on people like you, so think twice before starting this war.

No, my encouragement was to tell you to keep your chin up and keep trying. You can twist that into me telling you to kill yourself if ya wanna, but that only makes you look crazy to everyone else.

I've not claimed to know any more about you than what you post on this site.  You seem like someone who I share many interests with, and I've tried to make friendly conversation with you about these things (Robin Hood, Star Wars, vintage tv, snazzy dressing, ect.)

If you think I'm anywhere close to the 1%, you're very mistaken. I'm way below the poverty line myself. I dunno where you got the idea that I was born into wealth, but you're very wrong. My parents are now in their 70's and still have to work hard everyday to make ends meet.

Now if I misunderstood your intent I am sorry.  I just felt the best way to get this over with was to give an example that would show how it was coming off to me.  Sorry if I didn't get your point.  I may be a little over sensitive about this issue since in so many interviews in the past few years I have had people ask why they should hire me when I have not been able to get a job for myself in the past few years.  Sorry if I viewed you through that lens.

What places are you applying for jobs at?

Everything from all the local business to the major places like food lion and McDs.

The trouble is that since I can't afford a car without a job and there isn't any bus service in my area I am really limited to places I can walk or bike to so that keeps me within about a ten mile area.

Yeah I know it is hard to understand because it is a problem a lot of people don't have and truth be told if a few things had gone differently when I was in my late teens(like if I had been seeing a shrink and put on the meds I am now before my family went bankrupt I would have being able to pass my driver's test, go to college, and get a good job)I wouldn't be in this mess.

I really am trying not to focus on it but this pst couple of weeks with my aunt in the hospital and feeling helpless at home while everyone else is dealing with that it has worn me down.

Sorry, I am doing better then I was a year ago, it's just when you are going on thirty and your family has an emergency and you can't seem to help with that let alone the bills it can be hard not to feel depressed.

Again I am dealing with it and working on the problem a little at a time it's just I am at that stage where there is a lot of waiting around right now.

I was trying to combat the situation by going so far over the top everyone could see how silly it was getting.

Maybe that was the wrong term, I am not sure what to call it but I was trying to go so far over the top that the whole argument would seem silly and everyone would laugh it off.

I admit I screwed it up so let's just move on and not let it cause any more trouble.

Yeah I volunteer when i get the chance but since getting around is a problem that can get in the way.

As for feedback I do ask and the biggest answer I get from the large companies "Is it is against corporate policy to tell you", from the smaller ones it ranges from them not believing I can get to work on time without a car to the fact that I have not been hired by anyone else in the past four years.  Yeah never mind that that last one is a loop that I can't break, that is still a reason given. Despite having good write ups from all my past bosses they assume their is something really wrong with me if I have not been hired lately.  That may be the most frustrating one to hear.

Still things could be a whole lot worse, it may not seem it from what I post here some times but i am doing much better then I was last year where some days I literally could not get out of bed, and the unemployment rate is falling.  I think it's just my 30th birthday coming up that has me down a little, I always assume when I was a kid but by the time I was this old I would be set in life.  I mean my plan was simple, become a history teacher and do some writing on the side but life had a way of getting in the way.  I know it's up to me to turn things around and I am working at it and I know things will pick up at some point it's just that some days I feel like Luke in Star Wars "Biggs is right, I am never going to get out of here!"

Still as I said things could be a lot worse so one of the things I am working hard at is always looking on the bright side of life.

Of course it doesn't help that because of the extreme cold we are having to keep the cats inside and so because of my alargies I have not gotten a good night's sleep in over a week, that can break you down a little too:)

 The best I can find so far is a crazy meth head about a mile down the road, he seems to think everything in the universe is made of Furbies so i don't think he will be of much help.
