Oh, okay.
Weirdo.
You have no idea how little sleep he got. He pmed me about a matter which didn't exist. My responses involved referencing Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and the Ben Drowned creepypasta. He didn't get the references at all. For the sake of his privacy I will keep the pm conversation private, but I will say that he needs sleep badly.

Oh, okay.
Weirdo.
I wish I could get that weird. Unfortunately, I can't force myself to stay awake longer than one night.
At least I knew what I was doing when I made *my* silly comments in that pm conversation.

I guess this is where I should mention that he sent me a PM as well. Unfortunately, I didn't save it and can no longer recall its content.
Now you guys are telling me this?
Where were you in '77?
I didn't really think much of it at the time; I figured he was just having some random fun.
Er... um... I'm really, really sorry, guys, if I offended anybody.
The real truth is that I was trying to solve what I thought might be an Internet treasure hunt related to video games. An Alternate Reality Game of sorts.
It'd be about something hidden in plain sight, perhaps, like the buried treasure linked to that old children's book Masquerade.
I didn't mean to offend you all; it's plain from your messages that I've sent emails to the wrong people. Honestly. I really do apologize.
I'm going to bed now.

Just do not tell us of your dreams...your waking thoughts are seemingly worrisome enough! ;-p

I think I just heard Frink's brain explode.
Fascinating.

What I want to say, before I quit this thread, is that, although I don't overly like the Prequels, I also don't feel it's right to deny GL's own right to make movies as he chooses. That's kind of... not nice.
If i was a billionaire several times over i would damn well make the types of films i want as well.
But i would also know that i was opening myself up to criticism.
His later films were not great in my opinion but they were still Lucasfilms. Now Lucasfilms will no longer be made by Lucas.

Far from the first time that's happened.
Louis Mayer
Samuel Goldwyn
Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack Warner
Walt Disney
William Fox
Several studios have continued long after their founders moved on. More often than not, they've given us many cherished, classic, and culturally significant films. Personally, I see Lucasfilm without Lucas to be very positive. It's a new era. One that I've been waiting on for thirty years. Lucas lost his way decades ago.
I can forgive Lucas for the PT if we had the originals readily available at the time to wash out the bad taste.
I'm not even 100% sure what it means, but I'm guessing that's not lavishing hosanna on Lucas like the thread says you're supposed to.
Praise Lucas for selling off Star Wars to Disney, for he need not make any more prequels, and for giving us some hope.

This is a wise and noble sentiment.
