Part of me says "WHAT could be more important than finishing ROTJ 2.0?????" but a more sensible part of me realizes you have a real life outside of Star Wars. :)

I didn't have time to make a Christmas surprise for you guys, so here's a New Year's one :)

Again, big thanks to Team Negative 1!
The 35mm footage still needs some stabilization, but beyond that it looks INCREDIBLE! Very clean and clear all the way through, and the colors look great too.
I'm actually surprised at how much I'm looking forward to ROTJ v2.0 seeing as how it's my least favorite of the original trilogy.
Thanks for giving us a taste of what's to come! Can't wait to see more!
Fantastic color and contrast. But yeah, a little stabilization needed. Looks amazing.
What other 35mm clips are you hoping to collect, Harmy? I know you want some frames for the eyebrows, but are you happy enough with the Sarlac and ghost to do them the old way again, or hoping to upgrade?
Definitely hoping to upgrade.
Wow!!!! That's some sharp looking footage right there! Great cleanup job, Harmy! I can feel this 2.0 is already shaping up to be a major upgrade!
What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.
Nice to see that horrible song in such nice quality
Wow, that's a pretty fantastic improvement. I guess we'll have nothing to worry about in the eyebrow department anymore, either.

Speak for yourself. I'm constantly having to re-groom.
Looks absolutely great! Gotta love Max Reebo!
“Stargazing wizards, stare into the night,
Hurricanes and blizzards, here comes the final fight”
Looks great!

I agree!
It looks very clean, a much needed 2.0!

You can totally see Oola's nipple. Thak you, Harmy! :D

You can see two?
Now there are two of them!
As someone who missed the theatrical run of Jedi, this is the first time I've seen that footage in the quality above a VHS tape. This is truly a public service!
The Person in Question
Verily; providing 35mm views of Twi'lek nipples is indeed a public service, since they must be seen in greater than VHS quality to be fully appreciated. ;)
That's some excellent quality!
Can't wait!
...now, if I could only find authoring software that could handle the # of tracks, and didn't suck. I'd be more than glad to make some basic menus, using whatever art/motion menus, if I could find software that I could work with. Not quite like the "old days" of DVD authoring.
Yep, all the software that can handle this sort of thing is incredibly expensive.
Wow, Harmy! That's just fantastic!
Keep Circulating the Tapes.
END OF LINE
(It hasn’t happened yet)

Loving this Harmy, it's so great not seeing cheap cgi characters jumping in front of the camera :)
Looking forward to 2.0!
Can I make a request for the MKV version? In that you crop out the black bars when encoding it? I don't always play everything back on a 16:9 screen, so it would be nice to scale it horizontally rather than vertically like Star Wars 2.1/Empire 2.0
I'd like to request to PLEASE retain the black bars when encoding--I like that the stream Harmy provides as already Blu-ray compatible (and 16:9 is part of that equation), so those who want a Blu-ray can easily just remux and burn a disc without re-encoding.
