any cool ones for the whole trilogy? not individual cases?

Best one coming through guys:

Boom. Beat that. It may be in a DVD case, but I'm sure it would fit fine in a Blu Ray case.

You captured their blandness perfectly.

Nothing like seeing a good "Holy shit!" come from Harmy.

But that is indeed awesome.

I really do love it! I always wanted to make a box like that myself but never got around to it :-)

Was this set ever completed?  I like it a lot.  Original poster art is where it's at.

So I've been trying to put together my personal box set for quite a while. Ideally, I'd like to have two disk Blu-Ray cases with Harmy's and Adywan's versions of the films in the cases (I'll add the Revisited films as they come out).

I wanted to use Harmy's covers for the Blu-Ray cases and ideally modify one of eyeshotfirst's designs: to make slip cover's for the cases. However, my understanding is that ESF lost most of his designs in a hard-drive malfunction :(.

The other thing I want to do is to make a nice box. I've built a box using 1/8" plywood, and lined the inside with black felt. For the outside I planned to use this box from ESF ( https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31809614/Box_edit_bd.jpg ) printed on adhesive, printable foil. I just think the white spaces would look really cool in silver.

My request, if anyone is willing to help, is first can anyone modify ESF's box ( https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31809614/Box_edit_bd.jpg ) to fit on the template that Harmy's box fits in here (http://uloz.to/xWbNW6Ft/swdebrb-zip). The adhesive foil only comes in standard letter size sheets. Also, if the design could fit on my box (7 1/4" in tall, 5 1/2 wide, 1 3/4" spine depth) I would be incredibly grateful.

I know this is kind of a big request, I just don't have any sort of computer skills and have failed for the better part of a month to do it myself. Also, if anyone has eyeshotfirst's covers that I posted and doesn't mind uploading them, it would be seriously appreciated. I'm a big fan of the simplicity of the spines.

that would be perfect if you could make a digital scan of the AOTC cover? This may actually become my PT box set from now on.

 Absotively posilutely.

This is not the thread for invite requests.

I too would like to get onboard the ESF cover train. If anyone has anything like the covers he had in mind, please share.

I'd like copies of all my works. The hours I put into those, back when I had all kinds of time on my hands. People have popped up with some of them, but they've been changed up. I want the ones I initially released.

My first DVD set

My second DVD set

And my Blu Ray set, which is probably the most work I put into a set. I had the discs, the box, and I did a lot of work on getting the posters just right.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Hey ESF. So after following the rabbit-hole of people you gave it to, I was able to find your original first and second DVD set. I didn't really look for your Blu-Ray set, but I imagine its still around somewhere.

I have some stuff going on in the family but I'll make sure to re-upload them in the next day or two.

Thanks again for all your hard work, hopefully in the next week or so I'll finish up a very nice version of your box set that I can post. And thanks to Jetrell Fo and Spheretronic for helping me track these down and get the box set up for my use.

Jonno was kind enough to email me my blu ray set, box, disc, and everything else exactly as I had finished it. I have put it in several places to ensure I won't lose it again.

I'm feeling a little Lucasy and debating on making some slight corrections, mostly to little mistakes I can see on my better monitor. The Empire poster, I can see a little bit of Yoda's ear from my overlays, and some artifacts. I have some higher quality scans, the coloration will mostly be the same. I also see some places where the blacks weren't as low as they needed to be.

Thanks for that!  I've been planning my own set, which may or may not come to fruition, and you're a big influence.
