Sounds good to me. What is different now?

Where were you in '77?

You're the second person who didn't notice, so that's a good sign.  In fact, I think you may have suggested what I changed.  Anyway, here's the original (skip to 6:10).

Oh! The bridge speaker from TWOK! I thought you had dropped it in long ago. Definitely an improvement. ;)

Nah, I just put it on the back burner. :)

I've reached the first Commander Cody scene and I need a good name for him.  Thoughts?

Also, I could use help thinking of a fitting song for when Obi leaves the Clones in his fighter to go find Grevious.

All I can think of is Highway to the Danger Zone. Otherwise, I'm stumped...

It would sound better if you could knock out the original score when Obi Wan takes off, although that's probably impossible unless you lay in sound effects from elsewhere.

That was my first thought, to remove the score entirely and add just a few sound effects to sell it.  But I thought that the way I did it here made it more obvious that Obi was listening to the song rather than it being part of the soundtrack.

Honestly I'm not sure which way to go.

Can you try dialing the score out right when the hangar bay doors open? Maybe it's just me, but it's hard to listen to both tracks going at once. The ambience you added to the song does sell that he's listening to it.

I can certainly do that.  I will have to add some sound effects, however.  Not my favorite thing to do (or my strong suit, honestly), but I could probably manage it.

The more I think about it, the more I prefer the song, actually.

 Oooooo, I love it!

To make it sound like he's listening to it, tinnify the music outside the craft and go from soft to louder as the ship approaches us. Then, give it full spectrum inside the craft until Obi-Wan cranks it normal to LOUD -- yes, that's him reaching out & dialing up the vibes! Now, loud tinnified music outside the craft, going softer as the ship moves away from us.

That should work with the movie music playing all the while (or with a slight drop during the song).

I think it works fine with the existing music. Dare I say, funnier?

Funnier with the score?  Not sure about that.  I'm just going for "not distracting."
