So... Ellen Page kissed Jessica Alba?

I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.

I was watching the Rankin/Bass Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. When the abominable snow monster of the north showed up I at first thought. It kind of reminds me of the wampa ice creature. Then I remembered that Rudolph came out in 1964.I am now wondering if George Lucas got the idea of the wampa from the abominable snow monster.

why do I feel like a misfit,

man i feel like a nitwit.

Is the post better now, with the words all mashed together like cars in a traffic jam??

^ Nah, Yeti/Abominable-Snowman legends predate that cartoon by hundreds of years.

So this awesome BTS footage from STAR WARS was posted to Youtube recently. The video description credits this forum. What thread was this in?

Edit: Wait have I talked about this footage before? It's late and my brain isn't getting the best reception at the moment.

Imposing bolshevik order on beautiful chaos is of Shaitan. It should be avoided at all costs.

It's marginally better, but it still has issues.

^Just more fodder to feed my theory that the humans of the galaxy far, far away are descendants of Terrans.

That, or we're dealing with Trek-styled convergent evolution. Frankly, though, that notion's lame, so I choose not to run with it.

Was the site down for a few days?

On the bright side I saw the RLM prequel reviews for the first time. Can't believe I had never heard of them ... wow what a cathartic and entertaining experience.

Yeah, it was down beginning early Christmas morning.

I swear this advert...

...is running in every ad-break since Christmas in the UK. It's kinda nice to have SW back at the pop-culture forefront :-)

These part-work things are usually a ridiculous ripoff with this one costing £900 all told. Still considering a studio Falcon could cost £400 and you get magazines and stuff it's not the worst deal these companies have ever offered.

Here's an opinion of mine no one's gonna like or agree with: ROTJ is worse than Dark Empire.

Bloody hell! 'Dark Empire' must be the greatest book ever written!

It's now possible to recover sound in a video by analyzing the movement of objects within the video. I hope somebody uses this for old silent movies, just for fun. Also, for Star Wars, it may be possible to recover some of Prowse's original dialogue on set. That's neat.

In Green Lantern, that convergent evolution theory is also discussed when Dr. Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard) finishes up his autopsy on Abin Sur so maybe DC comics is in on the conspiracy.

In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's Light.

Don't remind me of DC Comics. I already have too much hatred directed towards Marvel right now.

Given that the sound recovery is all done from high-speed video, which is necessary in order to record vibrations at the frequency of sounds... I don't think so.

The internet excitement/chatter/speculation/ect for Force Awakens made me have a flash back to before AOTC came out. I was on TF.N, somewhat trolling I suppose, when I started a thread about whether or not George Lucas was going to let Samuel L. Jackson say "motherf*cker" in the movie, since that was pretty much what he was known for saying in virtually every film. I guess you can assume what the response was.
