Yup, I'm looking forward to the new batch of screenshots as well ;)

Seriously, though, I do like looking at them.

70mm please 70mm please 70mm please oh please.

Is this just wishful thinking or did I miss something?

Wishful thinking, I presume. I've never heard of a 70mm print of Empire out there. And if a print of the opening-day cut were to surface, odds are that it would be severely faded.

(The collectible film cells came from a print that wasn't faded, or at least not *as* faded, but it also wasn't the "opening day" version - I've seen at least one on eBay that clearly showed the Falcon's dish in frame when Luke falls off the weathervane.)

According to previous members of the team, there was a faded 70mm print of ESB out there. Not sure what happened to it, and there are some locked away in some schools Film library.

Just to clarify, that's not the news. This will be something you will be able to enjoy for quite awhile.

I dunno, I think I would be able to enjoy a 70mm print for quite awhile, too.

Maybe it's Team Negative1 t-shirts :)

It's not clothing. Not a release date (Still way too soon for that). Not another print. Not more screenshots. It's from an idea one of the original member of the group had.

There is something about print damage and heavy duped grain that scream cinema to me, that analogue look is dieing off :(

I dunno, there's a difference between "looks filmic" and "looks grindhouse"...

(Didn't look at anything referenced)

We'll be the judge of that.  You can wear all sorts of things.

No problem.  Last time I checked, I can still buy discs....

Although come to think of it, they better hurry on this before those go away too. :-(

I'd like to see you wear files

They would make for very heavy and very rough clothing, but it could be done. Just avoid needle files unless you want to be a steel porcupine masochist.

I reckon it could be a rough version with the cut scenes put back in. I'm sure the original Neg-1 talked about that somewhere on their original site.

Oh no, hang on that was SW not TESB.

If it's Star Wars cut & timed to match the Dark Side of the Moon, we're all going to be very disappointed.

Okay, fine. But Funky Cold Medina would be way better.
