Lol wat?  It's pronounced L-O-L.

I thought about creating an "Ask the member of the United Methodist Church AKA Interrogate the United Methodist" Thread, but decided against it. 

My understanding was that "lawl" was supposed to be a sardonic version of "lol", not an alternate pronunciation.

A lot of people pronounce it as a word now, rather than "L-O-L" (leastwise in my generation), and I found it odd that people seem to have chosen "lawl" as the way to say it. I read it as a word because it's evolved beyond the meaning of "Laugh Out Loud" and doesn't have periods. I tend to lean away from pronouncing whatever-the-word-is-for-those-things-that-aren't-acronyms-but-are-similar-because-they-only-use-the-first-letter-of-each-word as words.

 I didn't know you were a Methodist.  My Grandfather was a Methodist minister for over forty years so while I am nondominational(spelling?)now I grew up in Methodist churches.

Okay that story is not as interesting as I thought it would be when I typed it but what do you expect?  I am the most boring person on the planet.

I'm glad you're non-dominational--it makes for a more peaceful world--but I believe your intended spelling was "non-denominational."

Hi, I suddenly thought of travelling again. The last time I did was in Hong kong but I was able to missed an interesting place near there.  I am referring to Beijing, China. Its good, if you do have the chance to visit places including China. I heard, there are many wonderful spots to see and discover especially in their capital City, Beijing. It is where the famous Great wall of China is located. There other places also that are wonderful to visit too like, the New Olympic Village, Birds Stadium,The Temple of Heaven and The Forbidden City.

 Thanks.  Every time I tried to spell that it came out wrong and I couldn't find it in the Webster's.  Thanks.

I am still Christian I just believe in what Paul wrote when he complained about Christians dividing themselves into groups and saying they were or Peter or Paul or what not that is all.

I don't know what's scarier -- that they met when she was seventeen or that she actually believes he's innocent.

Man I wish someone would come up with a cure for my skin rash.  Screw cancer research every year when we turn on the heat my rash acts up and I can't sleep a wink. The only problems in the world that are worth solving are the ones that effect me!
