I lost 15 pounds in the past two weeks!

In April I weighed in at 320,now I am down to 264!!!

Good!  keep up with the diet.

The funny thing is I am not really dieting.  I am just eating less of what I normally eat and I am dropping the weight:)

I'm finally back to work, part-time, which is better than nothing.  I've also dropped some weight by watching my eating habits better.

On a side note, after I got my hair cut, my daughter and I were waiting by her school door so she could go get her lunch bag.  She saw three high school girls waiting for their siblings and my daughter said, hey dad, those girls are checking you out.

Weird but flattering in some small way.

 Smart. I often lose my appetite completely after viewing my siblings' eating habits.

Congrats that you got the job.  Last we heard, you had a good interview.  How's your mom? :)

It went slower then I would like but for the first time in about a year this weekend I was able to write a piece of fan fiction and get it into a shape this morning where I was fine with posting it on fanfiction.net.  This is a huge step up for me as I have not been able to write in about a year and now I have hope that I will be able to do it every day!  This may not seem like much but it gives me hope that I can get back to work on my novels and finally finish my other fan fiction stories.

This is a huge deal for me!

Easterhay's disappeared into the ether once again. That's definately good news, am I right?

My baby brother took his first steps today. He's only made it to three without support, so it can't exactly be called walking, but it's still pretty good for a less-than-ten-months-old baby. :)

I hate my job. I currently work at a hospital as an RN, and though I was excited to take a step up in the career ladder, I hate working nights and I hate the way the hospital is run. It was recently bought out by a for profit corporation, and it has since treated its employees like poop. There is more, but this is the good news thread. I just got off the phone after a phone interview. As many of you know, my previous career was in mental health. A new agency will be opening up in town and they are looking for psych RNs. The interview went very well and I was  told that, "We don't say this to all our phone interviewees but I'm really interested in an in-person interview. I'm not just saying that." So perhaps a new, happier job looms around the corner. Wish me luck while I endure my current job, and I hope this new opportunity, if I get it, is actually more rewarding.
