I'll say it again, so this a Disney kids show where the heroes are terrorists? LOL

Doesn't that describe basically all of the OT?

Nope

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

I suppose it all depends on one's point of view. From an Imperial standpoint, the Rebels are pretty much terrorists. From the Rebels' point of view, they're freedom fighters.

Why exactly did they make her a Mandalorian, again?

to appeal to Traviss-worshippers

That seems to stretch it a bit.

How about "because Boba is one of the most iconic popular memorable OT characters."

The Astromech blew away a tie fighter and killed a human being, lol.

Well that certainly violates Asimov's 3 laws of Robotics that George borrowed from.

Or was that just an EU thing that only illegally programmed droids could kill people?

I mean other than the stupid prequel robots who don't seem to be sentient  droids like artoo and threepio.

I'm pretty sure this fellow didn't operate under those laws...

And I'm pretty sure Threepio skirted those rules in the scene cut from ESB, where he rips the warning sign off the door to that room full of Wampas that snow troopers then enter. ;)

So its the EU then that created the only illegal hunter killer droids like the one from Kotor are modified to kill.

There is far too much EU minutia to unlearn, before the new movies.

None of that stuff was ever Canon, thanks Lucas story group.  Now all i have to do is forget everything including the original marvel comics.

Is IG88 really an EU character?  Lucas has shit the bed so many times with regards to cannon events.

IG-88 being a droid bounty hunter is in ESB. IG-88 killing its creators and plotting a droid revolution is EU.

He was about to have his way with the second Death Star...and he would have gotten away with it too if it was for those meddling terrorists.

And to do that they have to create a DayGlo Mandalorian graffiti artist?

I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic towards this show, but this is looking more-and-more like a good example of the cure being worse than the disease.

On the surface of it, I'm not all that happy with the character either. But we'll have to wait and see how the character develops over time in the show before passing final judgement.

This is the most important thing. Remember all the Ahsoka hate from TCW. Hell, I didn't even like her. But by the end of the series she belongs in Star Wars more than half of the characters the PT introduced.

I'm sorry, but this show looks great. The more I see of it, the more of it I want to see.

You know, this show is starting to grow on me again. That last clip was pretty good. I also just saw some of the other shorts, including the Inquisitor one. I'm digging the uniqueness of his lightsaber. Too bad it's red though. I think that if Jedi and Sith are going to be limited to certain colours, other groups should have their own colours. The Inquisitor isn't a Sith, so he should have a yellow, or purple lightsabre.

I no longer dislike the animation style, but the slingshot thing made me cringe. I thought the scene was a tad childish, but it could have been worse.

BTW, are these shorts going to be incorporated into episodes, or are they being made separately to promote the show?

The shorts comprise of original material, not taken from any episodes proper.

I'm liking it a bit more.  I can see this show getting better as the seasons go on like TCW, and at least these shorts/clips of the first episode don't seem nearly as bad as the early TCW stuff.

Digging the latest shorts. If that's how the show is going to "feel", I'm excited for the real deal.

Where did you hear that?

It looks to me like they're being pulled from the first episode. At this rate. we will have seen the whole thing in pieces by the time it comes out.

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

It was announced awhile ago that these are original shorts.

Looks like garbage to me. Can't stick the look of the characters, the way they are animated etc. Damn ugly.
