I suppose a fading Imperial remnant could rally the troops around a robot masquerading as Darth Vader.

It would literally be a Bad Robot :-D

I just tried to find what would Lucas or a Disney executive do to make the true Vader come back (not someone pretending to be Vader)... And the best I found is this: try to find a way for Anakin's Force Ghost to take control of a new Vader's armor but working for the light side of the Force this time... Perfect Disney family movie: Son and father (and add the son of Luke to for good mesure!) fighting together for the good of the galaxy ( and in a way they could even say that it is exactly what Vader wanted in ESB...!)

.... Ok, I go.

LOL!  I think I'd die if that happened.

I think that I would be so disappointed in the lousy writing that I would go down to the garage and, in a fit of depression, cut off my own head.

I don't know if it's just the settings of my computer or whatever, but that image looks really stretched out on my screen when I go to that page.

Does anyone else think the robot hand looks like Anakin's?

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Oh man, it's so weird to see the Falcon cockpit with a green screen behind it, instead of the classic blue screen.

The last photo kind of the looks like a hallway of the Death Star in ROTJ.  Although, I don't recall seeing any hallways like that in the film.  A deleted scene briefly showed Vader walking down a hallway.

Then there's this...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAj7bujK4vA

Well, the walls have similar angles but over-all, the design is completely different.

I don't see any dice, either.  Supposedly, they got some replica dice as seen in the original film.

Right, but the Imperial influence is seemingly becoming more and more apparent.

EDIT: On second thought, many of the hallways in the prequels had a similar look as well before the Empire existed.

Neat! I don't think the dice were seen again after the Falcon left Tatooine. Did we ever get a shot looking into the cockpit from behind the rear wall in the OT?

I think green screen is pretty much the standard these days. In the days of black and white movies, red screens were used.

I don't believe so.  Seems like they'll do a shot like that in Episode VII since they went through the trouble of finishing that part of the set.

Maybe we'll finally learn where the bathroom is on the Falcon. ;)

I got an idea from that upwards shot of Kanan in the latest Rebels clip ;-)

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

He does look good. Nice forearm development.

I hope that isn't a new character he's posing with. ;)
