What happened to this site's "Search" function?

 (Edited)

I wanted to search for an older post the other day....and then realized that I couldn't find the search box.

Is my browser just not showing it or is it gone?

(Not that it's that much of a loss since it didn't really work, anyway. :-P)

EDIT: Nevermind. I should have looked in the "bug" forum first.

"site:originaltrilogy.com XXXX" on Google is a better search anyway. I use it all the time.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

I was trying to look for all posts I have been active in and I cant since I cant search!!

To Admin: Was this bogging down your server which is why you removed it or was it a technical issue bud and you havent gotton round to fixing it??

Im curious......

The Search function has been gone for at least 3/4 of a year. But Dude, look two posts above yours to see how to search.

The search function here is really wonky. You can't search through a member's posts, searching for specific posts and threads is difficult, the whole forum setup here is a bit bizarre, to be honest. I've pretty much given up hoping that it'll ever get changed. Maybe it isn't possible without losing all of the existing work. It's a shame, because as I've become more interested in technical stuff and fan preservations, I find myself combing through various threads here, but it's frankly easier to use Google than the site proper. doubt those I'll be read or cared about though ;).

And that's not even counting trying to post on mobile ;)!

That's kind of a given, seeing as the only way to search is through Google. Unless you mean easier to use Google than browse through the site, in which case, that's pretty obvious.

No, I mean that it's easier to search for something on this site by using Google than the site's own search function.

It's like a math function...but using search instead of math.

It's like a search, but with numbers instead of letters.
