Is there any chance, at this juncture, of having the Slave I go into cloaking device mode (like how it's done in Star Trek) at the end of his approach to the Falcon, to better explain why he wasn't detected when he followed Han all the way to Bespin? :)

According to Captain Needa the Falcon is too small to carry a cloaking device. Since Slave 1 is much smaller than the Falcon it wouldn't make sense if it were able to cloak somehow.

Besides, I don't think one would need to be able to "disappear" to hide from such a ship as the Falcon. A cruiser can have equipment allowing it to detect any ship nearby, but a freighter wouldn't necessarily have that. So as long as Fett keeps his distance (which he does), doesn't lock-on some missiles on the Falcon or pings his IP address I'm not shocked that Han is oblivious to his previous.

Not sure if that's true. In ANH we hear the Falcon's sensors go nuts just prior to us seeing a Tie come into view (before they unknowingly approach the Death Star)

All this discussion is moot anyway. I don't think there was ever a chance Ady would want to change it.

I would say that being a Bounty Hunter on the prowl, Boba would have whatever detection jammer already switched on as he tails the Falcon

....just pure sneakiness

Personally, I've always thought of "cloaking" (at least within the Star Wars universe) to be just making your ship undetectable to the other ship's scanners rather than literally making it invisible.

This is exactly what I thought too. According to SW Wikia though, if anyone still refers to it as canon or not (at least for this subject), the technology to literally cloak does exist and the Slave I does have a cloaking device (and a jamming array for simply staying off sensors, which is likely what he used while following Han).

In any case, it doesn't seem like something Ady would go for...I think it's been discussed before as well.

 This is truth.

Wishlist Of Ideas/Suggestions For Improving ROTJ

I would think if you take off Boba Fett's mask he's wearing a Guy Fawkes mask.  His communications browser goes through a TOR network and all that stuff to retcon it a bit.

Anyone else ever wondered why Vader saves Chewies life?

As Han is getting frozen, Chewie kicks off, Boba is about to blast him, Vader pushes Bobas gun away.  Considering Chewie is of no use to Vader, and Vaders fondness of choking even his own buddies, I always wondered why he spares the wookiee. Maybe under that dark exterior he's an animal lover.

I used to have a theory that Vader subconsciously knew to keep Leia from being shot, maybe through the force. The reason I had this theory was because the look that Leia gives Vader after he prevented Boba's shooting. It was like there was a moment there, between them, but neither understood it at that time.

But, after dwelling on it, I wasn't so sure if it was plausible or not as an explanation.

When did this become Facebook?  I have a suggestion: there is no need to post anything here until Ady does.  We can wait however long it takes, whereupon when he is ready to post the finished edit, we can discuss it then.

Until then, can we PLEASE stop flooding this thread just for the sake of posting something?  It's like how over on Blu-ray.com on the SCREAM! Factory thread half the posts are people writing "my shipment went out today!"

I think the answer to the question is very simple.

If you shoot the Wookie, you will just make him mad.

Gentlemen, and ladies, there are other threads for such weighty discussions not directly related to Ady's work. Please make use of them.

Where were you in '77?

without wanting to drag everything off topic, It just made sense that Vader was keeping Leia and Chewie safe because they were live bait to lure Luke into his trap

Well he wanted them taken to his ship, so I'd assume for interrogation?

No one's interested in that, we just care about Vader's feelings about Chewie.

...

Wait, I might have that backwards.

^My thoughts exactly. A post from the man himself about a chance to win a filming prop and you can practically hear the tumbleweed rolling by.

Now about those Tie colours....

Interesting tidbit there that work has already begun on ROTJ:R

UPDATE OF THE PRIZE DRAW

Some time ago didn't you make a model AT-AT? Are you still going to need that for filming (possibly stomping through trees on Endor?) or was it already given as a prize?

He still has it as it was mentioned in a Facebook post about the Shield Generator castings. I'm not sure what his intentions are for it in ROTJ (if any), but it's not part of any draw.

T'would be just my luck to win prizes here having donated six months past with now retired olde Paypal account! Will lucky winners names be posted for all to see or will private carrier pigeon messengers be dispatched with the good news?

Just a thought adywan, but perhaps you could consider filming a short, basic Youtube 'video draw' that you could eventually link to here and on the 'Revisited' Facebook page?

It might add a little extra pizzazz to the proceedings...and you could even rope in one of the family in the same kind of discrete way this guy did if you wish.  This is just an example of the kind of thing I mean, but I'm sure you could include shots of the prizes too, for instance - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_20T_DRQHMM

I think it would be good, once you have a release day set for any current and future project, to make a little teaser for it. Send it to kotaku, starwars fan sites etc. Now to draw people in they need to know how this project differs from other versions of these movies and what makes them special, and how much work was put into them. So flash some text on screen and make it dramatic.
