Watched Jumper today, and I forgot SLJ is in it. Two dialogue sources for the price of one! Or none, if you like, since it was a gift.
SLJ yelling "time to go home to mommy" is definitely going somewhere.
Use the scene of Inigo Montoya's little speech about the sound his heart made when Count Rugen killed his father, during Vader's "NOOOOOOOO!"

Is there still a chance you'll use SLJ's immortal Snakes on Plane line?
Where were you in '77?
Yes!
Someone once suggested replacing Snakes with Sith and Plane with Senate, but I don't know how it will sound.

I imagine it would sound quite similar to this:
I wonder if it would be possible to chop up SLJ's angrily saying s**t and make it sound like sith?

It would only work if it was possible to make the tone of voice of "Sith" and "senate" sound the same, or similar to, the rest of the line.

I tried. I originally shifted the pitch up on "sith" and "senate" to match, but then those words sounded horribly distorted and not like Mr. Jackson at all. I can't think of any time he might have yelled those two words, and I don't know if I could handle re-watching the prequels to find out.

That's about how I imagined it would sound. Unfortunate but useable, given the unevenness of other lines in my edits. I can (and will) see if there are places he yells the words.
And yes, pitch shifting doesn't seem to work terribly well, at least when I try it.
In other news, I watched Vanishing on 7th Street. Somehow, Hayden's character is named Luke, and he even says it - "Hi, I'm Luke." I don't know where just yet, but I'm sure that will prove useful. Ideas are welcome.
What's funny is the director didn't make the Star Wars connection until they were shooting. And I'm flashing back to that movie every time I see a shadow. ;)

The editing in this one is pretty good:

I like the way the reaction shots of Yoda and Obi-Wan are. I can't remember if you have it like that already or not, but if not, I think the scene would be improved if you copied that.
Not the first to point this out but that fish-headed-dude from the bar in ST3 sounds an awful lot like Yoda. Any chance his lines could find there way into the ridiculous universe?
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.
This little blue fellow sounds a lot like Yoda too. ;)

I'm not sure I agree. The reaction shots are used to avoid showing Mace at all.

Star Trek 3? No thanks.
But Grover might find his way into the ROT...

I guess you're right. Although it might work well to have him freaking out in the background to get a couple reaction shots. It's your choice in the end. You have more experience with that kind of thing anyway.

Presumably this is a ST3 reference, NOT THAT I CARE!

Don't forget the edit that gave old Mr. Jackson his best line ever.
Yeah, I think that was already suggested (and approved).
The things that 'Wook and I do for you people...
I just watched Factory Girl. Ugh.
What I learned from the movie: Don't leave college for the 1960's New York art scene, fall in love with Andy Warhol and REDACTED because the real person would sue, and whatever you do, don't inject drugs into your butt! I found it more interesting from the technical side, as they shot it on 16mm, and even used Super 8 for a couple shots.
Maybe Virgin Territory will ease your pain? Or not...

To be fair to the movie, I generally hate biopics of any sort.
The really odd thing was that Hayden didn't even show up until halfway through the movie, and wasn't really in the movie that much going forward...and yet still got second billing. I want his agent.
I found his character saying "Come on! Direct me!" unintentionally hilarious. I'm sure he wanted to say that on the prequels more than once. ;)
Between this and Virgin Territory, Hayden must love his agent.
