If the GOUT's bad quality isn't obvious enough, you should downscale it/use a lower quality version to exaggerate the difference.

The gag should be that the original version looked good and the additions are bad so I would use Harmy as a source for the original footage and the 2004 SE for the additions including the colar mismatch.

When Luke uses his lightsaber on the Falcon, it should cycle through a variety of colars.
When Obi-Wan and Vader fight, it should be in slow motion.

It would be cool if a FX savy person made Vader and Obi-Wan's hands spin fast and made them jump around in mockery of the PT fights.
It needn't be realistic (Monty Python stylee cut-outs would do). In fact the least realistic the better.

Well, I thought it work better to exaggerate how bad the GOUT looks. If Frink wants to exaggerate how bad the SE looks, that would work too. I think he should go with whichever looks the most obvious.

Yes GOUT is bad as a presentation of the OUT but it would send out the wrong signals. We are after all dedicated to a legitimate official restoration and distribution of the unaltered theatrical version.
A GOUT joke could be misinterpreted as a mocking of the OUT. When the SE2004 and SE2011 are differently but equally badly presented it makes more sense to mock that and avoid mixing up the message.

It would be a great thing if Frink was able to get a Walkie-Talkie to reproduce the Trooper voices himself (As SilverWook suggests), as the possibilities for hilarity throughout the R:OT would then be endless.

Yes, they should be the same two troopers all the way through (Also they could be bickering about life as they knock on doors in Tatooine, visit the Cantina, talk to that spy and question Ben about his Droids etc etc). One of them could tragically die in the arms of the other, when Han runs round that corner and blasts a random trooper.
Makes you realise that the other films didn't have these kind of nice random banter from extras scenes (Unless I'm forgetting).
