it plays perfectly on the above, ive also burned it to blu-ray using both tsmuxer and multiavchd and it plays great no sync issues :) 

The 2 things that stand out to me the most, Luke says "i'm not afraid" is out of sync. The other is where Luke says "lets go" there is lines on the top and bottom of the video, plus i think his voice is some what out of sync there as well.

 hmmmm! ok, can i ask what player you are using to watch it on please?

Well i played it on my openelec xbmc and tried it on the computer with media player classic, same results. The xbmc can handle a hell of alot and if there's problems with a video then it will show.

I would also try a bit higher bitrate if you can, there were parts that could benefit from it.

Has anyone else downloaded your 2.0 version yet?

thanks for the feedback im gonna start v3.0 2nt ((sorry for anyone who already downloaded it and is dissapointed with it)) (in reality its probably v327.4 by now! been working on it since february!)

i had alot of problems with the bitarate once it was burned to blu-ray (i rendered it at 100 cbr which played fine on the pc but stuttured on the players, so i did process of elimination and lowered it ending on 17 or 24 iirc it then played perfectly on the blu ray players ((2 panasonics and a toshiba)))

if anyone has any ideas or advice on the encoding im all ears! (ended up using adobe elements 12 as everything else failed on me! and my premiere didnt like the files!) 

cccp (w/media player classic) or vlc should be the most popular players.

Sorry to be a picky bitch, but this is a "reconstruction", not a "preservation". Can you change the thread title to reflect that?

Compression  is much much better now, i see you used mpeg2 29.970 fps this time.

Everything looks to be in sync, i guess the only thing just slightly off, is Luke saying "lets go" but it's alot better then the others.

Thanks again for doing this project, it's a fun video to have.

the "lets go" bit is a nightmare as its so short, it looks off in the 3 original versions i have too though! i think its cause he is already starting his next line as its cuts away it was matched to the 720p thx.com version by syncing the 2 together by using opacity so i could see the both tracks (like tracing paper)

Is this going up on the spleen? I was going to grab it during the free leech until I saw that it was getting revamped again. Thanks for doing this! Great project.

I think the sound is still off at some parts.  Not sure if offset as a whole.

For example around when the "don't get cocky kid", the blaster and gun shot sounds are definitely not in sync.

Oh and then start THX has some pops in it.  I can send you a better one.

it might be mid next week by the time i get to do it as im away for a few days and as im an idiot and thought it was all good i deleted the source files for ANH so im getting them again as i type

i have tried mixing a clean thx broadway opening into the mix but have been able to do so, so far, as i need a programme that will allow me to mix in 5.1 and output 5.1 then strip it to individual wav files and still make sure it's in sync!

im ok with the way it sounds (i played it back in 11.4 and it still sounds amazing!) its go that 90's feel 

the THX cinemas i used to got to always had crackly THX opening logos! and never any new ones!

ok Vxxxx.0 is now up (i lost count!) it has

a clean THX opener

sync issues fixed

cant remember what else

as before i hope its the last but please give feedback if you notice anything

Great project by the way.

I took a look at your latest reconstruction version and I love the picture and sound, but there are still some sync issues with the sound when people are speaking and with certain sound effects - like the blaster shots and Indy firing his revolver for example.

hmmmm how about a 2019 version with the anh and rotj footage in 4K? full 4K version will only be done once we get willow too that might take awhile (raiders and empire should be 4K in a year or so)
