I still can't find the PAL version - the Rapidshare container thing's broken. :( Would it break my PAL TV if I played the NTSC version on it?

In terms of your hardware "being able to play" PAL or NTSC, it will and it doesn't matter (With most modern hardware anyway). It's only if you've got a region locked DVD that your player might refuse e.g. R1-NTSC or R2-PAL (Revisted will be region free so no problem).
Even my heavily locked PS3 will most anything I put in the drive, as long it isn't region locked.

Well that's ok then; I'll put the one I have onto a DVD and that should be fine. No, in fact, I should probably get the DVD-9 version, since that has some other minor changes...
Actually, perhaps not... last time I got something off a torrent, it probably damaged my router settings so that no-one else in the house could use it...

He's still busy with ESB:R, and ANH:R HD doesn't come out til after ROTJ R so I highly doubt he's working on it.

No they are not, Adywan seems to go for a much more subtle approach to his changes.

Yeah I don't like those shots at all. They show the same problems all the SE's show. Too much blue tinting in everything. Obi Wan's tunic isn't white, it's cream colored. I doubt there's be anything white on Tatooine what with all the dust. The coloring in those pics is trying to make everything look clean and modern, but Tattooine is a dust bowl. Everything on the whole planet should be shades of brown, not blue

No, i haven't started work on ANH:R HD yet.
That is Angel's Deviantart gallery. Looking at those new colour correction shots, he certainly does like his blues. lol. He does have a very different idea of what Star Wars should look like. I have to say i really don't like that colour correction, especially the sandcrawler scenes.

No, i haven't started work on ANH:R HD yet.

Even if he can be an arsehole at times, you still have to admit:
(1) he has talent
(2) he has some interesting ideas. The recoloring of the Falcon to match it's look in EMPIRE? I think that's pretty awesome. Same thing with tilting Tatooine in the opening shot to match all subsequent shots (or flattening Tatooine in the following shots to have continuity), and while I could go either way on a lot of the color timing alterations, he still has some really good ideas on spatial composition.

There are a lot of Angel's ideas I do like but he certainly has a different approach. I would like to see an Angel version of the film but yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Vader had a blue saber and boobies in that one :-D

I'm inclined to concur. It does make the film look much more recent, although I don't know if that's what you're aiming for.

The world is big enough for both versions, indeed multiple versions but so far we have only (in terms of redressed SEs) ANH:R:SD which is still pretty amazing.

At one point I thought it'd be cool to see the trailer for the '97 SE remade as one for Revisited. So I gave it a go:
..it's definitely NOT perfect. Not all of the resources I needed were immediately available, but - it's kinda close.

Excellent! Reminded me how exciting that trailer was back in the day. I'm excited all over again for ESB:R... only this time I think it will live up to the billing.
