Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. The last fifteen seasons of The Simpsons have been just as bad as - if not worse than - the PT & SEs combined.
I would guess enough people are still watching. It's not like Fox is keeping it on the air out of fuzzy nostalgia or anything. ;)
Where were you in '77?
Most of those people are tasteless teenagers and self-deluded fanboys who don't want to admit to themselves that their golden goose has turned to rust.
I haven't in some time but I used to tune in to the new Simpsons every once in awhile. Not good television by any means, but there were still laughs to be had.
