I think it's pretty obvious that Bingowings likes to play devil's advocate with you on almost any occasion. You see things rather black and white, while he tries to give you a more nuanced perspective. I don't agree with him most of the time, but I want to make it clear why he argues with you more than others
I agree, I don't like the idea of opening the store on Thanksgiving Day. I participated (for the very first time, mind you) in a Black Friday event last year, and of course I did it on Thursday instead. I saw a friend of mine who worked at Wal-Mart, and I could see he was not enjoying himself one bit, and I am confident he did not want to be working there at all. He was scheduled to work, and if he chose not to, he probably would have faced disciplinary action of some sort. It made me sad, and again, I don't agree with it. But in our nation of supply and demand economics, the demand is there, the supply is coming, and folks aren't going to boycott it enough to end the practice. Sadly, it's probably here to stay.
Back to the argument, if you don't like hearing Bingo's perspective on something, you don't have to respond. You don't have to put him on ignore because he's not usually offensive, but sometimes it's better just to pass up on an argument rather than trying to prove you are right. He's pretty set in his views as well.
