So was ray, unfortunately.

I meant every word of what I said*.

Anyways, I believe what you have there, Bluefrog, are displays from Wal-Mart. I remember seeing them back in '99 and thinking Jar-Jar looked terrifying.

*-Ok, so Frink wasn't "just asking a question", it was just a stupid joke. If anybody is offended by it, then they have some issues to deal with :p

While I do greatly appreciate the info you have provided, I do not appreciate someone saying that if someone is offended by a stupid joke that they must have issues to deal with. Like I said in a previous response, offensive is a relative term and can not be used as a general observation. Again, thank you for the information.

Well, now that all of that is done with, does anyone know an approximate value of these or has anyone seen them being sold anywhere?

The stuff for TPM was produced on such a mass scale that much of it has no value except for what a collector is willing to pay.

It might have more value if CPY was included.

Also, I can't believe the massive overreaction to my little joke.  Just wait until Erica shows up!

WTF

This is terrifying.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Besides, if I were gay, I wouldn't be posting on here looking for a companion. So, yes to me that was offensive!

Please explain.

If someone walked up to me on the street and asked out-of-the-blue if I'm bisexual (I'm not), I wouldn't be offended by the question. I'd wonder why he/she wanted to know, yes, but I wouldn't be offended.

What's offensive about bisexuality to you?

I don't know what Erica (or I) could possibly add to this thread to make it any weirder than it already is.

Fink's comment/question was a bit queer, but.......what the fudge is everyone getting their panties in a bunch about?

Honestly, the title of the thread is rather light-in-the-loafers .....no better than if it read "Help!", or "I Have A Question".

Let me know if this "conversation" actually becomes something more than a 'your joke sucks' gang-bang.

And BTW, there's nothing wrong with being Bi-Curious.

Offensive?  Lol.

It's not my fault some people don't know how to make a descriptive thread title.

Well, I figured that my title would get more people to view my post, that is why I titled my post the way I did. Besides, if I were gay, I wouldn't be posting on here looking for a companion. So, yes to me that was offensive! My posting had NOTHING to do with sexual relations in any way! You were TRYING to be funny (key word: TRYING) and it didn't work. May I suggest that you choose your "funny" comments more wisely in the future?

Maybe he was Try-Curious.

I wouldn't mind another companion or an assistant. I'm forbidden to be gay in that way but you and I traveling, exploring, getting tied up, getting married to someone moments after first meeting them... it's all clean fun isn't it?

Yeah the backs look like they are meant to be shelving pelmets from a shop display.

Someone probably would like to have them.

The big plastic Naboo Starfighters and Droid fighters that used to be in shop displays go for a bob or two if they are in good condition. I'd sit on them for a while as selling things in general seems to be a bit depressed at the moment.

Once the ST begins nostalgia for that awful film may brew up enough for you to profit from it.

This is the back^

The back again.

As others have said, it was part of a toy aisle display. I can't recall which stores had them at this point. I do know they were attached at the very top of the shelves to create a long billboard effect.

Shouldn't this be in the memorabilia section? Whoosh!

Best contribution to the thread!  Well, other than the terrifying giant Jar Jar, which I will not proceed to have nightmares about.

I wish I had thought of CPY-Curious, back before I was called a girl...

Hopefully you will be able to find someone who is Buy-Curious.
