Apologies Ady, you were quite right to be harsh with him.
Load of nonsense if you ask me... He was a lot of talk and no action...agreed to do cgi work and let us all down.
But he seemed ok.... So time marches on...
I'm still really looking forward to this Edit... And I am wondering how the filming of miniatures is going? or even if it has started... Not asking to see anything but hoping that things are going well... Because this stuff is perhaps more tricky than the mainly computer based stuff?

As for the edit... I'm waiting for the audio work to get really moving. That's the beginning of the final stretch :-)

Gee whiz, this one is really taking a long time (assuming I understand correctly and it isn't done yet)! I thought it was supposed to be released in April of last year...
What's taking so long? The first one was awesome, and I really want to see this one and ROTJ:R.

There were a number of personal setbacks. It is now scheduled for the last quarter of 2013.
I hope you don't mind waiting a while for the next one, as Adywan will be working on RotJ:R, ANH: R HD, and all the prequels at the same time. But, assuming what he has planned is viable, it should be worth the wait :)

Are there any recent articles or blog posts telling the history of the ups and down, the lefts, the rights etc of this magnificent project?
I've been following it for about a year and while I'm super excited by ESB:R, I don't fancy reading back through 28 thousand posts on this forum to find out what happened before ;-)
The YouTube trailer for example is dated 20th May 2009 and the recent talk about Angel was news to me... so there's obviously been alot of developments in those years. So anybody care to fill in the johnny-come-latelys like myself and others?

PT would be a lot better with just some edits. No battle droid speak, new voice for jar jar (jar jar not capitalized for a reason) take out the "Yipee! & the "Noooooooo!" edit out some of the useless filler, slap stick, & midichlorian talk, edit down the senate gobbly gook, and-boom! The movies are 20% better already! I do hope jar jar still steps in crap though-now that's funny stuff!!!
One thing I would do is to make Obi-Wan a friend of Quin Gon, not his padawan. Obi-Wan would already be a Jedi in the beginning of A Phantom Menace. I believe that would make it more accurate with the OT.

Apparently this thing is over 95% complete (via Twitter) so there's an update!
Ady's workin his butt off to finish things up....still tryin' for the end of this year. Probably no new video clips...though he HAS been dropping the occasional still photo of his model work on FB. This IS more or less the final stretch.....just a question of how long a stretch it will be.

Is that estimation based on project time, effort, or movie length? It's possible that the final <5% could take twice as much time as any other <5% of the project.
