I used to pronounce meme as "mehm" until I was told it is "meem."
Everyone I know pronounces .doc file as "dock" file.
.pdf files are always "P. D. F." files. (I know there are some people that pronounce FAQ and SQL as "fack" and "sequel" respectively.)
What about .avi files, do you say "A. V. I." or "avvy"?

Me too!
Now remembering the old telecine ("teli-sini" not "teli-seen") debate.

SQL is definately "sequel", we deal with it on a daily basis.
AVI is A-V-I, but I love Harmy's "avvysynth". Sometimes when you incorporate an acronym into another word, you create a new pronunciation.

What about jpg/jpeg? I say "Jay-Peg"
JEDIT: And let's not forget about "Shonzie".
Yeah, I would never take a pronounceable acronym and continue saying each letter individually after it's been incorporated into a word like avisynth.
For me...
Avisynth: A-V-I-synth
CAV: CAV rather than C-A-V
CLV: C-L-V
.DOC: DOCK
FAQ: FACK
JPEG/MPEG/etc.: J-PEG, M-PEG, ...
.PDF: P-D-F
SQL: S-Q-L
Telecine: tele-seen
There's no pattern here. I'm a mess.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

I blow my nose at you, you cheesy second hand electric donkey bottom biter!
Avi: avvy
.DOC: DOCK
FAQ: FAK (pronounced like FUCK as that's how A is prononunced here, although I don't remember saying it out loud, just thinking it like that)
JPEG/MPEG/etc.: J-P-G, M-P-G, ... (still not used to the extra E)
.PDF: P-D-F
Of course, my pronounciation with these is not as you'd think it in English. If there is a vowel in it I usually think it as one word, like avi, mov, exe etc. Although I hate it when some people say AT-AT as atat, you don't say AT-ST atst. Probably because of the vintage commercials, Kenner got it wrong.

I call em MakeVee files, and i hate them, now i come to think about it.
Yawn to this thread.
I've always said A-V-I.
I like that AT-AT and atat was brought up. My best childhood friend always called it an atat walker, and I always said AT-AT. We had debates about it, but they never went anywhere and we each continued to say it our own preferred way. He still called them atat walkers.
It was 'Imperial' walkers for me.

Hey don't yawn and then participate one post later.
.jpg are 'Jay Peg' (despite the better half pronouncing the letter J as "Jie"), .mpeg are "Em Peg" and .flc are 'flack' here in the Chateau.
Bizarrely SQL is 'sequel' but MySQL is "My S.Q.L".

Yeah sorry about that. Suddenly the topic turned to Star Wars and I felt compelled.
I pronounce Sirius as "sir-eye-us". I know pretty much everyone else pronounces it as "sir-ee-us", but the former sounds cooler.
Not an acronym, I know, but whatever *shrug*.
Nobody's mentioned the all-important .gif.
Gift without the t. I've heard it pronounced "Jiff" by crazy people.

I still pronounce "Snickers" as "Marathon" and "Cif" as "Jif" (seriously what is a Cif? What does it mean?).
