He also made a comment in an interview around the time of the SEs, that it's not the resolution, but the size of the screen (or words to that effect). I think they were discussing home video, and how the biggest screen possible is best. :-/
So, a big, over-exposed image was fine to him as long as long as it took up as much space as possible?
It can see how the gaffes with the DVD release got his seal of approval now.
Yeah, basically. :-P I'll try to find the exact quote and post it, but it was essentially it doesn't matter if it's VHS or DVD as long as the screen is huge.
