Wish I could be of help with the artwork, thought the ones on the first page looked great. Would be really cool to have 3 disc and 6 disc art though!

They do look great but every one of them would need to be edited for the new release, there is many changes on this new V2 Set, so unless they all get edited to match some will be of no use anymore for V2.

So instead of a recrapified version this looks like its simply polishing a turd!

Man, I'm so excited about this set you have no idea!  How long has the team been working on ANH?  How long do you think it will take to get ESB and ROTJ done?  I know I'm probably annoying with these sorts of questions, but I really just can't wait :)

How long have we been working on SW BV2 and ANH 97 SE Blu, I do not even want to know lol, but it seems like forever, and I am sure the other 2 would agree, but I feel like once these 2 are out the others will not take to long, we are only going to fix the worst parts, not the whole film, and the 2 remaining 97 SE's won't take long at all, ESB BV2 is going to take the longest by far of the remaining titles.

On a positive note I already have the ESB work print done and ready to go, and to be honest another thing that will add some time is we like tot take breaks and work on "non Star Wars" releases, these projects help keep us sane lol.

This is fantastic to hear! I would just like to add my voice to all of those expressing extreme excitement for this release. As always, thank you!

May the Force be with you.

OK it is a done deal for all those that donate BD25's and or BD50's, you will all get your copies in BD cases with the art already printed, but we can't shrink wrap lol, and NOTLD 1990 SE will have a black BD case with slipcover and Conan The Barbarian US TC will also have a slipcover.

Thanks to those that have already sent blanks in both sizes! We really appreciate it very much, Thank you.

I am very happy to hear about this.  Are you guys planning on uploading it to MySpleen?  I've put off buying a BD burner for some time, but it looks like I'll have to get to it now :)

Spleen or newsgroups, I am not sure I want to seed these huge files forever, so I am leaning towards newsgroups, but we will see once I finally have these authored and can start testing, plus all that donate and my Team get their copies first.

Thanks

I think it would be ok if the people who get the copies would upload them on myspleen. Then they and the others could keep up the seeding. Unfortunately I have a slow upload speed so I wouldn't be able to help much.

I continue to put off buying a BD burner because of the amazing x264.

I love your signature:

The changes that George Lucas has made over the years to Star Wars is the equivalent of someone keying your car. On an intellectual level, you know that the car still works, and its only marred a fraction of a percent of the paintjob. On an emotional level, every time you see it, it's all you can focus on, and it makes you want to rip someone's face off.

Now this is a release that I can't wait for and the reason that I've joined here in the first place! Keep up the good work, guys!

I've had it for quite a while now and finally someone said something about it.

I hadn't noticed it before. I don't know why but it's like I automatically skip reading people's signatures and just read their posts instead.

That said, your signature is the best ever!

Well, since they don't change much, I get tired of reading the same stuff over and over.

Haha, yep that's exactly why I never notice when somebody changes their signature either.

But technically a movie is "the paint job". And if by "keying" it you mean removing all the paint, replacing the expensive sound system with a cheap knockoff, putting sawdust in the engine, painting it a subtly different color, then plastering it with distracting decals and bumper stickers, then you would be approaching what they did to Star Wars. It's the same car, it just looks, sounds, and feels entirely different.

You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

The only bright side to this is that the car has been detailed, so that even the lines in the leather seats are easier to make out.

In truth, what I care most about is getting those fake-looking Jabba and Sy Snoodles bobblehead dolls off the dash.

I am brand new to these forums, and I found my way here after looking EVERYWHERE for a digital copy of the 1997 Laserdisc releases.

I see that the project is well underway but if there is some way I can assist, I would like to. My technical abilities are limited but I would like to contribute a donation to the project if at all possible.

I love the 1997 editions of Star Wars. That was the format in which I first saw them when I was younger, and for that reason alone I would love to have them. I have the VHS copies but the quality is so poor. When I heard about the Laserdisc release I seriously almost bought a Laserdisc player and the collection off of Amazon. The only thing stopping me was the ridiculous price of the player.

I'm so thrilled to hear about this project, I can't even tell you.
