Thanks for the tip.  I'll make the request properly and see if something comes up.  Man, those FE.org folks are very strict.  And those crazy mods never give you a break.  What a bunch of weirdos! ;)

If there was to be a v4 it would now be sourced from the blu-rays, so everything would need to be redone. Therefore it should not be inferred from my non-possession of previous versions that there would not be a future project of a similar nature.

Well, I know you've got a life, but from what I've seen in the few YouTube videos that remain up, you've got a very interesting and different approach than Adywan. I know everyone talks about his being the gold standard, and it really is wonderful, but I also love to see others' work. For me, there is no definitive version, and your previous work already looked fantastic. I hope you get the chance to again show your work :)

Is there anyone who has a copy of this and is willing to upload it?  I'd also be pleased with the Darth Editous/ADigitalMan hybrid, though it would be nice to have both.  I'd love a PM.

I have a PAL DVD which is, I think, v1 (there is a file on the disc named DE-ANH20050525P.jpg which suggests it was released 25 May 2005).

Popped the disc in to run a verify in ImgBurn and unfortunately it's unreadable after the 94% mark (so the final VOB file is lost).

I do however have two AVI files on a hard drive - one is in a folder with DE-ANH20060510X.jpg, so is probably v2, and the other is DE-ANHv3X.jpg. I don't have DVD versions of v3, but can post the Xvid for anyone who wants it.

Though a DVD is generally my preferred format, I'd be quite happy to see Xvids as well, particularly if it represents the newest versions.  I'd really appreciate it if you did put them up somewhere.  Thanks!  I thought it might have been lost forever. :)

My 2005 DVDs are still readable (both NTSC & PAL) and they stilll match the SFVs from segaflip's usenet post.
Media code MAXELL/002 FWIW.

I never got any newer DE releases than those

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

The edit that inspired Adywan’s Star Wars Revisited series.

The unfortunate reality of the Star Wars prequel and Disney trilogies is that they will always be around. Forever. They will never go away. It can never be undone.

I also prefer to be referred to as “TNT”, not “Freezing”.
