No offense was intended of course. Just a silly little "odd couple" thingaroo. I thought it would be amusing if Jesus, who solves problems with wisdom and intellect, were paired with Hercules, who makes right through might :)

I smell sitcom!!

There doesn't seem to be much evidence for Jesus using intellect beyond common sense.

He seems to be more compassionate and pragmatic than intellectual though he does become disproportionately enraged at the money lenders in a way which if I were were running the Vatican gift shop would get very worried indeed.

No offense was taken.  It just reminded me of a thought I frequently have.  Thanks for your concern.  If I'd been upset, there'd have been no smiley face ;)  It actually is pretty funny (as was the raptor Jesus, I admit).

I've had a few cool religion influenced dreams like the one where Jesus, after being pelted with stones while carrying his own gravestone, got fed up and started swatting people away with said gravestone. Then, when the stone-pelting mob became too numerous and was closing in, he ran towards a cliff and jumped off.  A few moments passed and he came suddenly roaring back into view atop a blue turtle and flew off into the sky.

Then there was the one where I broke into a dinosaur library and uncovered the shocking truth that the world was created by a Dumptruck with a beard.

...random absurdity or was there some meaning to it all?

God really does have a beard, I can tell you that much.

The Pope will resign at the end of the month.

interesting.   He said it was due to bad health.   I wonder if that is really the true.   I mean I heard the last time a Pope resigned was 600 years ago.   That means that for the past 600 years, all Popes stayed in office until they died.   There had to be many Popes in that time that had as bad health or worse and did not resign.

Of course Bingo knows good and well who, but this is his basis for argument.

yeah, he is just being his usual assclown self.

And you're being your usual disrespectful brat. What if somebody didn't know about there being more than one pope? In fact, I did not know that there were more than two, so that's something I've learned thanks to his perfectly legitimate question, and thanks to darth ender's helpful link!!

And don't even bother replying cause I know exactly what you're gonna do: you're either gonna *sigh*, write "whatever" or ignore me.

Go ahead. Make my day.

is that what I am?

He could have explained that instead of asking "which Pope?"

The simple fact is, when someone is referring simply to the "the Pope", one can assume we are talking about the Catholic one.

You really think Bingo didn't know which Pope you were actually referring too?

well, I responded anyway and didn't "*sigh*", write "whatever" or ignore you.

Although I still think Bingo knew which Pope  Leonardo was talking about and was just clowning around, I guess should not have called him an assclown.   I apologize.

I have edited my original post.

In this thread anything is possible.

It's also possible the Vicar of Rome may have planned to have retired at the end of another month.

It's almost as exciting as the Queen abdicating for her son the other day.
