Ta - forgot about them. And TPM used q-tips for the audience members at the pod-race which was rather amusing.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

It's a common misconception that everything in the prequels is CGI. TPM actually has a lot of "old school" FX going on.

This weeks Entertainment Weekly has 5 tips on how Disney can make Star Wars Sequels that won't suck, and I think they are pretty good.
Really? I think #1 and #2 on that list suck.

Utapau wasn't CGI.
Neither were parts of Coruscant in AOTC and Mustafar.
All I really want is each film as it was originally seen and heard in theaters; no fixes, corrections, "improvements" or modifications necessary.

They used them in the Jedi council chamber too (poofs).

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Surprised Anakin doesn't yell this instead when he's happy.
But seriously, that is awesome news. I am now 100% confident in the new trilogy. This is gonna be awesome.
Thank the Maker!
Was it true Kasdan contributed the only memorable dialog between Indy and Marion in KOTCS?

IIRC, a similar trick was used for the chariot arena scenes in the silent film version of Ben Hur.

I am beyond excited. If they bring back Kurtz my heart might stop.

Exactly my sentiment.
This really reinforces my feelings that Disney can handle the series. About the best news I could ever hope to hear, aside from Kurtz coming back.

Marion Ravenwood: [Indy cuts Marion loose, and removes gag] I'm sure I wasn't the only person to go on with my life. There must have been plenty of women for you over the years.
Indiana Jones: Yeah. There were a few, but they all had the same problem.
Marion Ravenwood: Yeah? What's that?
Indiana Jones: [Indy cuts through roof] They weren't you, honey.
Where were you in '77?
I am sure John Williams contributed more to that, than Kasdan...

WOW.
The past 30 years feel like such a waste. What a shame that Lucas drove these people away. What the franchise could have been...*sigh*.
“Grow up. These are my Disney's movies, not yours.”
Do we know for sure about that? Kasdan has been a pretty busy guy the past 30 years, and schedules don't always synchronize in the movie biz...
Where were you in '77?
HOly bejesus that's a pretty big deal. I wonder if Kasdan will end up directing one of them too.
hey just started a youtube show talking about movies.. and we actually just had a huge discussion about lucas film being bought by disney. check it out and let me know what you guys think and please leave some comments..

I'm not interested in seeing Kurtz come back but Kasdan's return is very encouraging indeed.
Do explain.
