Can someone link me to the 5.1 70mm track with the compression issues corrected? I can't seem to find it.

My Account has been hacked. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

Seeing the color correction in the remastered edition had me curious about that sacred technicolor print since it's such a miracle to have it at all for reference; if there was anything that concerned me the most about what fans have been dealing with for so long, it's the potential for future generations to be brainwashed by how Lucas wants everyone to view the films as they are instead of keeping such a beloved piece of pop culture in tact to stand the test of time. Unless I didn't read into the details enough to which anyone is welcome to correct me, it saddens me to think we may never see Empire or Jedi in such a preserved condition beyond the limitations we've compromised with; despite the reality of the situation at hand, just being able to not have to settle with the official versions and relive them as we remember them is a priceless opportunity to which Harmy and everyone else who made this possible deserves eternal praise as the rebels who dared to do the impossible.
I agree with you. Harmy is working on V2.0 of Empire(which will be done some time next year), and then V2.0 of Jedi(about 2- 2 1/2 years from now).

I found this from a random reddit.com post that had nothing to do with Star Wars.
I was so amazed to see that this type of project was even being attempted and more surprised to see it SO completed! Thanks Harmy, and everyone else involved!
So i was googling around, reading the first post and basically i am a little confused.
for Star Wars (episode 4) , according to this forum post the one i want is 15 GB? because i see other star wars torrents claiming the harmy name and are 6 or 8 GB. which one do i want? ALso, version # 2 or 3 or 2.1???? which one is current? Overall, can anyone help me find the proper and current version? for esb and rotj i basically the same questions as above!
Help me orginaltrilogy.com.... you're my only hope
Currently, the best version of SW is v2.0 - you can either get the AVCHD, which is basically a 7.9GB Blu-Ray you can burn to a DVD and it will play in a BD player or you can get a 15GB MKV, which won't fit on a DVD and can only be played on some players. They are both the same version only different bitrates.
Of ESB and ROTJ, there is only one version so far and that is v1.0.
I've registered after a long time lurking to thank Harmy for this.
As much as I welcome the removal of crap CGI dinosaurs and the like from the SE, the biggest improvement for me is the colouring. I can cringe during pointless SE changes for their duration, but the bland over-stylized colour palette of the Special Edition ruined every second of it for me. So, thanks Harmy.

Welcome to the world of hobbyist productions. Time is money. No money? Lots of time.
Don't tell me that didn't make sense.
I think we need to work on a robot to preserve Harmy's brain in the unlikely event he pulls a robert jordan :)

I love your avatar. That is all.
It's a cool avatar. But is it Dan O' Herlihy from Halloween III, or evil Ted Baxter from the mirror universe Mary Tyler Moore show? ;)
Where were you in '77?
It might be a perfectly fine font, but it's hard to tell with all the stretching and squeezing and compressing. It looks like a typographer's worst nightmare*.

Hopefully by the end of the month but I have quite a busy timetable at school now, so I can't promise it for sure.

I am a Graphic Designer and seeing fonts abused like this usually makes me cringe but, for some reason, I kinda like this. Its fun and suits pretty well. Maybe needs some edge blurring and grain (looks like a video overlay at the moment).
