Yeah; I'm aware.  Before I burn anything, I'll drop in a new track.  If h_h doesn't release his new track soon, I'll just revert to another GOUT synced track.

Quick ? even though I have the GOUT(2006 DVD) and not the Blu-ray can I still download the remastered version?

You can do whatever you want to do. Nobody is going care what you download or don't download anyway so why even ask the question?

Do what you want and stop asking permission...seriously?

I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.

Well perhaps he was asking if it'd be LEGAL for him to do.
Let me assure you that it's illegal regardless of wether or not you own all the versions of star wars on any format.

Just download it and enjoy.

It's illegal anyway but it's intended for saturated demanders of the retail release, not to saturate demands. There's at least a huge moral difference.

Off topic: Canofhumdingers, did you notice that your signature glitch was missing from this release? :D

Yep. But it was actually removed by lucasfilm for the bluray release. It's funny b/c it was in the previews they were hosting at conventions like comic con, but then once it was discovered that the glitch was in pretty much every release since 2004 it (and several other "poster children" examples that were widely used as evidence of the crap job lucasfilm had done) were suddenly fixed on the final bluray release. Which tells me Lucasfilm may be much more aware of things going on here and elsewhere than we might want to believe...

Wow, still no answer so I'll try again.

Is the MKV not effected by this revelation about the sound on the AVCHD?  Or, does the MKV have to also be remuxed with a fix?

It’s really sad when the “creative minds” behind something we hold dear are also guilty of its destruction.

It's affected to a much lesser extent, maybe more than one audio track. To be honest, I didn't notice it but it should be remuxed too in order to increase the quality.

Damn.  Is there a particular audio track(s) that I need to download for the MKV?  Do the instructions for the sync fix apply to it?

Frustrating as hell.

It’s really sad when the “creative minds” behind something we hold dear are also guilty of its destruction.

Ok,that's what I needed to know Thanks,I've heard that V2.0 remastered was great.

OFF TOPIC:P.S I own the 2008 box set(which has the 2004SE DVD/2006 GOUT DVD) and the 1997 SE VHS TAPE.

One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

Wrong.  The rules of the site, which I linked to last page, clearly state you need to own the source.  Since this was sourced from the blu, you need to buy the blu first.

So that's what you meant by NO earlier.

I found the Blu-rays on ebay for cheap. It's not hard to be semi-legitimate.

I am (VERY SLOWLY) downloading the covers and wanted to ask, are they already at the proper size for a printer to produce them for a BD case?  Or, will they need to be resized?

Does anyone have an invite to myspleen that I could have? =)

Check page one....

Sorry, I was just wondering if anyone had any, because I have a free day to download some of Harmy's goodness and the generous walkingdork hasn't been online in a few days.

I'm back. Send invite requests my way.

If you want a Myspleen invite, just PM me and ask.

I watched this all the way through today.  Very, very nice work on bringing the colors much more in line with what they should be compared to the official releases- really gives it a different feeling completely.

It occurred to me watching it that "Star Wars" is actually a fairy tale- not science fiction.

When Ben appears and uncloaks his hood,  the entire frame turns really, really bright and white.  He is like the white wizard with a halo all around him.  That's why he wears a hood too.

The Force and the force theme are magic- it's fantasy, a fairy tale.

I don't know why, but I realized that for the first time, seeing it with the new colors. Anyway, great job.

LOL dude. I'm glad you figured it out, but I think I'll always be puzzled by people who think that Star Wars could possibly be considered a work of science fiction.

It's interesting that the very scene that made you aware of this is the very scene whose colors/very high contrast are so controversial. In general, people like a slightly less bright scene with more distinct colors - even Harmy. But the IB print it was being timed to had it as released here.

OK, so, the AVCHD will get a reupload once I mux it with the new tracks. The MKV won't!!! I'm just gonna add the info into the nfo and that's that. I'll make sure all audio is OK in the BD release.
