Not a bad idea, I was thinking about lowering the volume after Akwat posted.
Maybe dial down the moos so they are more subtle in the mix? (Except for one more audible moo or two from the Shaak being ridden.)
Then bring the moos all the way back up when Padme and Anakin are rolling in the grass. That part makes me laugh. It's like the Shaaks are frightened by them. That's your punchline.

TV's Frink, when the time comes, I've got an idea for Episode 3's ridiculousness, which was inspired by this preview. In the scene where Anakin falls into the lava, instead of Obi-Wan saying "You were the chosen one!", he could simply say "You were the one!" Anyway, keep up the good work!
Screen grooming. A most underrated activity. - hairy_hen
The mic was in picture!
^_^
In that vein you could have Anakin while entering the club and saying that Obi-Wan was as close as he had to a father he could go on about the kiss he shouldn't have given him.
Watched the first seventeen minutes on the weekend and some gags are just hillarious.
One thing that I think was excellent was Jar Jar's squeaky shoes. When he let's Obi Wan and Anakin inside he shifts his weight from one foot to the other. Maybe you could add half-a-squeak? Just an idea. Can't wait to see more. Kudos on 10 Go to Kamino line. I didn't stop laughing for half an hour.

And I think somekind of silly/funny music needs to be added during the middle of the chase, to make it more interesting.
Here are some ideas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqSAEE-4Nd4

also, perhaps some sneaky spy/mission impossible/mystery music could be added to the Obi-Wan investigating scenes?

900 year old Jedi masters do need their naps. ;)
Does Ki-Adi-Mundi have any lines in the movie? I can't recall. Given his resemblance to the Coneheads, it would be really funny if he spoke like one.

I love how Anakin keeps on responding every few words Windu says. :)
Ki-Adi-Mundi does have one line "He is a political idealist, not a murderer" when Padme says 'Duke Dooku :)' may be behind it.

Yoda should speak correctly as much as you can make him.

One little suggestion I have is to make the 'BASIC'-style subtitles with a font that looks computery.
(This sort of thing)

Or as incorreclty as possible, completely jumbling his wording to the point that it's completely nonsensical to the audience (though the characters seem to get the meaning).
Just had a thought: what if Dooku doesn't electrocute Anakin, Anakin just trips and falls and that's why he lying on the ground while Kenobi and Dooku fight?

Damn.
You could have had a lot of bongo BASIC fun with GOSUB routines.

Funny idea but I'm not aware of a way to do it.SilverWook said:

I tried a few variations on this for TRM but it didn't come out very well. I think I left one instance in ("Feel you how?") but otherwise it hit the cutting room floor.darth_ender said:

Thanks but I already have a font from TRM (during the video game fight).Leonardo said:

Neat idea, but there doesn't appear to be enough footage without the lightning to make it work.

Regarding the music during the speeder chase, it would be really difficult because the original score is intertwined with the sound effects. It probably could be done with a lot of work, but I doubt it would be worth the payoff to me.
It's really quite scary how well Krusty's voice over works with Jar Jar... and how it's actually an improvement.

Too bad that's the only scene with Yoda's little flying chair, it would be hilarious if it made sounds.

I love how much shorter the movie is going to be if you keep glossing over the boring scenes!
