Maybe the shields they have makes it harder to push them?

Droidekas and the super battle droids seem to perform so much better, so why are the bad guys even still using the skinny cannon fodder models after Episode II?

Even the CW series invented their own stealthy superior battle droid models.

"Comic" relief.

In ROTJ, if the plans the rebels got for the Deathstar show it in an 'incomplete' state....is it actually incomplete?

What I mean is, maybe that's what it was meant to look like when finished, and the rebels never realized it.

IIRC, wasn't allowing the DS II plans to be stolen part of the trap?

In the new Star Wars Insider's ask Lobot section someone asks the question that has plagged Star Wars fans since 1980.

Why is Lando wearing Han's clothes at the end of Empire?

The explanation they give is that Lando didn't have time to pack when he left Cloud City so is borowing Han's clothes whyst he's trapped in carbonite!

I still prefer my explanation though. They where origonally Lando's clothes but he lost them in the same Sabacc game that Han won the Falcon in. Lando didn't have enough credits so Han took everything including his ship and the clothes off his back. Lando walked away from the Sabacc table completly bolluck naked!

Your brain just makes s**t up!

I wonder what the actual reasoning behind it is, not the made-up EU explanation.

The clothes belong to the ship...not the person.

I'd guess there was a stash of clothing on the Falcon and Lando borrowed a set of threads since Han wouldn't need them anytime soon.

Better yet, maybe at some point before the carbon freezing Lando and Han underwent reconstructive surgery to look like the other. So, it's actually Lando who is frozen in carbonite, and Han escapes Cloud City with the others.

Maybe that's why it takes a year to rescue "Han" (Lando) from Jabba's Palace. "Lando" (Han) puts off the rescue as long as possible because he's still pissed off at the betrayal.

They undergo further reconstruction sometime before the meeting with Mon Mothma.

It was all a clever ruse by Lando to get some action with Leia, both before the freezing and after. That's the ultimate payback for losing the bet and the Falcon - get with the dude's girl.

According to the "Once Upon a Galaxy" book, Lando wears clothes "closer to the style favored by Han", to show his evolution into one of the good guys.

It doesn't say they are Han's clothes. As we don't know how much time passed between escaping Bespin and the reaching the Rebel fleet, they could have stopped somewhere in between. There have to be clothing stores in a galaxy far far away? ;)

Have any still photos of Billy Dee in that outfit ever surfaced? He's seated for the duration of the scene, and I think Hasbro just guessed at the rest of the outfit.

IIRC, the Marvel comic had Lando back in his Cloud City threads for most of the run between Empire and Jedi.

Ohhhhh.....Bollux. Didn't notice the typo.

Incidently, Bollux was the name of the droid in Han Solo at Stars' End. That made me laugh when I read it years ago. ;-)

I'd say the "EU explanation" is probably the real explanation as well. I've met other people who think it's really weird that he's wearing Hans clothes, but it really does make sense. Lando would have no other clothes than what he fled Cloud City in, and those were probably soiled during his escape and the following chase.

So do you think Lando actually soiled himself during his escape....I'll have to watch it again

He probably had his clothes in the washing machine. He was just wearing Han's clothes until his ones were clean. Makes sense...
