Honestly not really feeling that, but I'll consider it again down the road.
In the meantime, this needs a bit more sync work, but it's pretty close.

Fink, you are one hilarious son of a b. I'm still laughing.

I LOL'd.
Me too.
Any chance the Geonosis arena battle could be drown out with the constant drone of the vuvuzela?
Perhaps the creatures could be replaced by Japanese gentlemen in monster suits.
So we could even see Vuvuzilla in a Star Wars film.
I'd like to solicit more feedback on the Dooku clip. Slugs liked it but no one else has commented yet and I've had a few people on FE say they don't think it works. Anyone else care to comment?

I tried this in TRM during the podrace but it didn't work well from an audio standpoint. I can try it again here, however.

I like it a lot. My primary suggestion would be simply shortening it, something like the classic record scratch partway through and Obi-wan saying, "Well, I hope it doesn't take too long." Just a thought.

Ya.. I agree. It's funny...for awhile, but it's too damn long.

Too obvious?
Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.
A trim wouldn't kill it. I did like how you treated Obi-wan's reaction shots. (at least that's what I think you did, I haven't watched the movie in years)
I'd have to go with the others.
It works brilliantly, it's really funny - especially at first. Then it wears a little the longer it goes on. So maybe just try the record scratch as suggested and then go on with the dialogue which I'm sure you'll have fun with in some other manner.
I was also thinking....could we randomly see Anakin tell almost everyone he comes in contact with "I don't like sand". Sorta like the "Now there are two of them" running gag from the 1st edit.
Also, I wonder if an appropriate video-game tune can accompany the speeder chase in the beginning, sorta like the sonic theme under water.
What the scene REALLY needs is some final punchline dialogue from Obi.
I like the Christopher lee song, but It would be funny if he randomly stopped, Awkward reaction shots, then started again before transitioning.
having it as a one big chunk kinda wears out its funniness by the end.
How about continuing the bad guy trend from the last film and call Count Dooku 'Count Count'. Like Darth Darth.
Then in Episode 3 you could call General Grievous 'General General'

^Already thought of that one. My favorite title would be "Sid Sidious."

I really like that idea. I'll play around with it a bit.
Have Obi-wan say "what?" then have him continue maybe.TV's Frink said:

I think the Dooku joke works but perhaps it could be intercut with shots of Star Wars characters drinking to avoid repeating too much footage of Dooku.
You could even use some of Ewan's Moulin Rouge stuff to instigate a duet of sorts.
How does rotoscoping his mouth from Captain Invincible footage or maybe putting his Star Wars beard onto material from that film grab you (too much like hard work)?
It would help with the lip synch.
Adding a beard on here would make it useable during the conference scene.
The Wicker Man is full of little bits of dialogue which would be useful it also has more songs.
Came up with an idea this morning:
Replace all of Dooku's dialog with Saruman. Or at least a few lines. I'm imagining "Your love of the Halfling's leaf has clouded your mind" could be used in a few places.

John Williams score to Return of the Jedi Remastered/Remixed:

I thought that "The Saga Begins" worked really well in The Ridiculous Menace, and would love to see Weird Al songs incorporated into the next two edits, too. Some ideas:
-"I Think I'm a Clone Now," track 5 on Even Worse. Could work well when Obi-Wan is being given a tour of the Kaminoan's cloning facility.
-"Slime Creatures from Outer Space," track 7 on Dare to be Stupid. Might be amusing over any of the scenes featuring battle with the Geonosians.
-"Yoda," track 5 on Dare to be Stupid. Might go well either with Yoda's duel in this movie, or in the next.
-"Fun Zone," track 11 on UHF Motion Picture Soundtrack. Just a nice peppy, up-beat, kinda silly, instrumental piece that might work well in any number of scenes.

For the Yoda duel I suggest selective slowing/speeding up and pausing of the action to Clubbed To Death.
Use the Japanese track sped up a tad during the sword fights, like a badly dubbed kung fu movie.
