That looks beautiful! I especially like the star field.
Cool, thanks, Mike :-) That's quite likely what's happening in the first picture in my post and that's why the font seems thinner :-)
And guys... Merry Christmas:
That is so good. Fantastic!
I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.

But the scanlines are a lot more obvious.
Scanlines?

looking for HDTV of the Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Also HDTV of The Lord of the Rings trilogy
If I can make it in time, I have a new Christmas surprise planned for every night for the next four days, culminating with the next part of the workprint on Christmas eve :-)
Bollocks to that - I want the whole thing for Boxing Day night (the wife is going out, so I can enjoy it uninterrupted and have the volume as loud as I want).
Better get to work... ;-)

You serious?!
That's a cleaned up version of the frame from Mike's site! You found a way to make yours look that good or is it a joke? :)
No, no joke. I even used the same process as before, it's not a recreation using a font, it is comprised of the original elements.
It's just 720p of course, so when blown up to 4K, like Mike's picture is, it looks horrible but that's the way it looks at 720p. Now, the jaggies as it progresses further back are unfortunately still there, even when I tried rendering it at 4K, so I don't know what to do about those. But then, they're there a little even on the official SE crawl...
@Moth4: Um, which day is Boxing day again? ;-) We don't have any such thing. We also get our presents on xmas eve after dinner :-P
Ok, but that's great news! You're making a great progress.

Sounds great, Harmy - looking forward to it. I was originally hoping you would be completely finished by Christmas so I could give a few of my friends an awesome Christmas present. But of course the most important thing is that you take your time and not rush things. Very pleased with what I'm seeing so far - nice work.

Boxing day should be the day after Christmas Eve if I remember my English lessons :-)
I'm REALLY looking forward to see your "gift"

The new crawl looks super-tasty! Very nice!

I thought Christmas comes after Christmas eve. :P
Crawl looks good, interest growing...

Apparently I am bad at reading today and shouldn't've said what I said. Thus...
December 24 - Christmas Eve
December 25 - Christmas
December 26 - Boxing Day
In England after Christmas everyone fights eachother, as is their custom.
sorry if anyone else has said this but I noticed on the 30 minute work print that after the opening crawl the star field seems to change brightness. Is this right?
Where's my damn medal?
Yep, that's right and it's gonna be fixed.
This is the thing i'm looking forward to the most...even more than christmas.
There are just some things money can't buy ;-).
that new title shot lookes sexy as hell by the way.
Where's my damn medal?
OK, here's the new xmas clip. It's not quite final yet but let me know what you think :-)
The download link was temporary unavailable, but now I got it.
This crawl looks perfect to me, and the stars, there are so many stars shining so beautiful.
Then the moon of Tatooine! The moon looks really de-SE'd for me.
But then, the lasers of the Tantive, so shiny and not these thin spaghetties flying around anymore. I was so exited when I saw these bright red shining lasers there.
There is so much more to see in this scene compared to your version 1.0. Never thought this release 1.0 could become improved but now I know better.
Harmy, you say that this is not final, but this looks perfect to me. When I watch this, I really get the "Vintage Star Wars feeling" back.
